9:39pm: Seriously, how weird is that? Especially this time of night? I think its stopped now, which is good, it's nighttime, Duck, you should be sleeping!
In other news, I'm wondering about TAFE tomorrow, it's the first time I'll be going to a physical class in years, I'm not sure if I should bring my tablet to type on or if I should stick to pen and paper. Probably the latter I guess? I'm liable to be distracted by my tablet if I bring it along. I also have to make sure to ask about the Disability certificate and what the traineeship for that involves... Although I do wish they had that Health Administration Certificate, because that sounds like my bag.
Also, note to self: Must apply for the all important Warringah Council Library jobs! Fingers and toes crossed, fingers and toes crossed!
So! I got to the gym this morning before catching a ride with the parental units (and the last of my stuff) back to the Granny Flat - although I got there at 10am and had to forego the swimming, although my towel and swimsuit were still damp for yesterday anyway, so not such a big loss I suppose.
Anyway, while we driving, Mum brought up the Green Citreon again, and would you believe it's still up on that Car website! However there's another one available too! Which is rather intriguing, the second one is more expensive, but has done less kms and appears to have full log books and whatnot. I wonder... (Although quite unhelpfully I have no idea where in Sydney this car is, it could be waaaay out west for all I know.
Hmm, on that note, the Saturday Six is appropriate, so let's get onto that!
The Saturday Six
1. How old were you when you got your driver's licence? If we're talking my Learner's Permit, 17 and a half. My P plates 18 and my full license 21 (they've got quite a licencing system here in Aussieland)
2. What was the year, make and model of your first car? Well, it wasn't my car, I shared it with my brother, but it was a white Nissan Skyline sedan, but I have no idea what year it was. It was an automatic though and had power steering and air conditioning, which is more than I can say for the second car I shared with my brothers!
3. What colour was your first car, and what colour do you wish it had been? As I said, white. I wanted a red car! Which the second one was as well as the car I got while working for my grandparents friends. I had to give up that car when I got fired though, boo.
4. Did you buy your first car yourself, or was it a family hand-me-down? The latter, my parents had a gold BMW for themselves! :OP It was second hand, but pretty snazzy.
5. Other than family, who was the first person you remember driving somewhere in your car? I believe it was my friend who now lives in New York, she thought I drove well so that was a relief!
6. How long did you keep the car? The white Nissan we had until it practically died, it was stolen at one point and we got it back with the interiors of the doors all kind of shitty and the locks broken. I think we sold it to some family friends in 2007...
Sunday Stealing
:One Thing .....:
From: Cool Free Surveys
that makes you smile: Talking to friends
that makes you cry: Don't like to cry because it makes my eyeballs sore, but sad stories...
that you love to do on the weekends: Go to the gym
that you do for only yourself: Er everything :OP No...I guess, these Memes!
that you have in your underwear drawer that's NOT underwear: Well, I've got some night clothes in with my extra underwear.
that you do before going to sleep: Give my pillow a few thumps, LOL.
that you do within the first 15 minutes after waking: Go to the can, guess all the water I drink does that!
that's in your purse: My hand sanitizer, although I was unable to find it at church last night, but it was there the whole time!
that you actually LIKE to clean: My computer file folders (is that cheating? :OP)
that you DETEST cleaning: Dishes, I suck at cleaning dishes, although I'm getting better at it, or I like to think I am.
that other people would find odd about you: Pft, probably easier to say what isn't odd about me. :OP Uh...I drive with my tongue poking out, it's a nervous habit.
that you would buy if I handed you a $100 bill: Some new jeans, a hole looks ready to develop in the only pair I've got, shit!
that you feel you HAVE to do before you die: Visit New York City!
Unconcious Mutterings

1. Joke :: Ha ha

3. Reaction :: Opposite
4. High :: Sky
5. Movie :: Night
6. Decide :: Jury
