Now I Feel REALLY Inadequate

anonymoose_au10:39pm: Yeah, so I saw a link on Facebook today that linked to this section of the Forbes website. This person and I were in the same year at school! And there she is being all influential and stuff and I've got no job at all. And alas, the receptionist jobs here in my suburb didn't pan out. Although I have to ask, would it have killed them to send me a friggin' email to inform me of this? Instead of making me go in and ask like an idiot?
Sigh! This sucks.
What also sucks? I went to Broadway Shopping Centre to get my Simpsons 2014 desktop calendar only to find I'd left it too late and there weren't any left! D: Damnit! I can't believe I forgot to check out the Calendar Club stand at the Mall before I left work for good... I actually looked up the Calendar Club website and got the phone number for the stand and called, but only got voice mail. I left a message, but I'm not hopeful of getting a reply and I don't feel like going all the way down to the Mall if it's not there... I'll try again tomorrow.
Speaking of phone calls that went nowhere, I called the lost property people about my shoe, but once again I didn't get a chance to talk to a person, only leave a message...and I haven't heard anything back about that either! D: I also called the newsagency, but it wasn't there. I wonder if I might have left it in the Mosman Library, so I called them, but I got yet another voice mailbox! Fuck that I'll just pop in tomorrow after I have my laser hair removal appointment. Also I could have left it on the bus back to the apartment which would mean having to call a whole different bus lost property office. Irritating!
And I was going to write something else, but I can't remember what it was now...guess it wasn't important, hopefully if it is I'll remember it. In the meantime I should probably wrap this up because I need to get to bed at a proper hour so I don't have to rush to my appointment tomorrow.
Oh! And I've finally got numbers for my birthday dinner on Friday, now I just have to make the reservations and decide what to do about a cake.
