Crying Over Your Own Story?
Nov. 16th, 2006 11:19 pm![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
10:30pm: No seriously, I was writing on my NaNo I got to a rather depressing point where George III's father dies and I started crying my eyes out. I feel really lame, who the Hell cries at their own story when they're writing it, and I'm quite sure it won't cause anyone else to shed a tear. Holy cow, I'm such a sap!
I also hate crying because it makes my poor eyes hurt, dang...
Anywhow Word Count!
And now I'm sixth, go me!
3X Thursday
Depression
1. Are you prone to depression? Do you get depressed often?
I don't think so, surprisingly enough I'm usually described as a rather chirpy person. I tend to get angry instead of sad anyway.
2. What triggers depression in you?
Getting told off, depressing stories, sniff! Sad news from around the world.
3. What do you to get undepressed?
Go on the internet, write a story, watch TV, go for a walk or talk to someone.
Bonus Question for Comments: Do you think that in small doses, depression is good for the soul? Why/why not?
Hmmm...I'm not sure, as they say if you don't know what sadness is how can you experience happiness? But serious depression, as in the mental illness isn't good for you all!

Reading List
1. Do you keep a list of books to read?
Nope, but I probably should because I always start a book then forget about it...
2. Where do you keep your list (computer, PDA, paper, etc.)?
See above, although I would probably write it down on a notepad or something and keep it on me.
3. How often do you refer to your list? Every time you go for a new book to read? When book shopping? Or?
Oi! I said I don't keep one! :OP

Reading Lists II
Reading Lists, Part Two
1. So, last week we asked you if you kept a list of books that you're interested in, wanting to read, wanting to buy, etc. This week, we want to know--do you keep a list of the books you've READ?
I've just realised how weird it is that read is both present and past tense, hmmm, intriguing, any other words like that? Moving on, I don't keep a list, except for the times I was part of the MS Read-a-thon, then I wrote them all down, so I could send them in.
2. If so, how? In a journal? A notebook? On the computer?
Please see above...once again I'd probably write it down because I like to write out stuff with a pencil sometimes.
Thursday Threesome
::A Day in the Rain::
Onesome: A Day--or so ago? Oops, wrong meme. Wait, that might be cool... "A Day or So Ago, I saw......." You fill it in!
A small three person choir singing Christmas Carols, they had very nice voices, but I am quite against the singing of Christmas Carols before Advent.
Twosome: in-- case of rain, do you carry an umbrella? ...or do you just hoof it in a hat?
I do carry an umbrella, since I have a small one, once though I really thought it was going to rain so I lugged a big one around (it was the only one I coud find) and that sucked. Frankly, I think if given that choice I'd hoof it with a hat. Unless of course, I'm going to an interview or something.
Threesome: the Rain-- in Spain? Nah, how about locally: has the rainy season kicked in for you yet? Snow? Nothing? Come on, it's almost Thanksgiving here in the States!
Well, it was coming down today, but I wouldn't call it a rainy season...we got snow in the mountains yesterday, holy crap what the Hell is with that?!
I think I have work tomorrow, but I have to call in the morning because I wasn't able to get through today to check, so I better get to bed so I can be up at decent hour.
Goodnight all.
I also hate crying because it makes my poor eyes hurt, dang...
