9:50pm: I have been working on a picture in Photoshop, which came into my mind as I was going to bed last night. With Percy, LOL. Fun times, fun times, I'm not so sure about the colours and stuff.

In other news, not much, just went to work, did some stuff, came home...

I need to get to bed soon though since I'm still behind on my sleep after reading Harry Potter in one day. Speaking of which, this morning I heard they employed a speed reader to read the 7th book so they could give a review, and it took them 48 mintues! No way! I wonder if they actually remember anything, and how did they even do that? Very impressive.

Aw shit, I just remembered Drawn Together was on SBS tonight an episode I'd never heard of either! Is that series still going? Or did it only go for three seasons?

Saturday Special

~Vacation Preferences~

1. Traveling by Air, Sea or Land?:

Air! I love planes, whoot!

2. Hotel, Camp Grounds or Summer Cottage?:

Summer cottage I suppose...it's nice to have more than one room and perhaps a kitchen and stuff like that.

3. Sightseeing, Weather Related Sports or Relaxing?:

Sightseeing, and some relaxing, of course.

4. Favorite vacation season?:

Summer...unless it's skiing, because that would just defeat the purpose.

Sat-8

::Crushing::

1. Who was your first crush?

Either Jamie Bamber who played Archie on Hornblower or Jonathan Firth as Prince Albert in Victoria and Albert.

2. Do you currently have a crush on someone?

I have an ever lasting crush on Colin Firth because he's hawt.

3. What makes a crush a CRUSH to you? The fact that it's possibly unrequited? Or that you can actually get the person at a later date?

I'd say the fact that it's unrequited, if it was requited not only would that be rather creepy that would be more a possible sigificant other rather than a crush.

4. Who are your celebrity crushes?

See above, I don't get crushes on real people.

5. Have you ever crushed on a boss? Did anything come of it?

RTFLMAO! Oh geeze, if you'd seen my bosses...oh man...

6. Have you ever crushed on a teacher? Describe what made you fawn over them.

Once again, you don't know the teachers at my school, huh?

7. Many people have met a spouse/fiance(e) at work. Have you ever crushed on a co-worker, and how did that turn out?

Once again my co-workers are not the sort of people I'd crush on.

8. Have you ever crushed on a personal trainer, a work-out buddy, or a member of your sports team? What happened?

Nope, like I said I crush on people who aren't real or who are celebrities. :OP

Saturday Six

1. Think about your best friend in high school: how long has it been since you’ve seen him?

Er her, since I went to all girls shcool, I have many best friends from high school, most of them I saw at the end of last month, Zep back in May I think, but I haven't seen [livejournal.com profile] bookscorpion for some time, don't you hate it when you've got 3 phone numbers for a person and you still can't get 'em?

2. Think of the last time you saw more than one of your high school classmates together at the same time: how did you happen to run into each other?

Well like I said at the end of last month we had a get together to farewell another friend of ours Caroline, who's going to Europe. In terms of High School classmates I'm not actually friends with it's usually just a co-incidence like we meet in the street and stuff.

3. How many of your teachers do you think you would love to visit in person after all the years since you graduated, just to talk about having them as a teacher and catch up: one or two, three to five, five to ten, or more than ten?

Five to ten I'd say, especially my old English teacher Ms Quinn ah the arguements we could have. :OP

4. Take the quiz: Could you pass high school?

You Failed High School

Time to hit the books!

Hmpf, well it's not my fault it was US-centric, and I didn't do Maths in my last year of High School because I'm that cool :OP.

5. What was the best lunch food your high school served?

In Australia students bring their food from home most of the time except for special occassions. It was always fun getting a pie from the tuck-shop though.

6. Did you participate in any extra-cirricular activities in high school, like sports, band, etc? If so, how many?

Indeed! In Year 7 and 8, I did Trampoling, also the Chess Club and the Gifted and Talent class for one year.

Situation Sunday

Situation #1
You and your spouse,or life partner, have giving birth to a beautiful baby. As the years go by , say 5 years. The hospital's lawyer calls you and tells you there was a terrible mistake on there part, and you have been given the wrong child. All DNA tests have been done, and is correct. What do you do and how do you handle it.

Oh no! That's terrible! I don't know though...I mean after five years I don't think it would be a good idea to give up the kiddie, on the other hand, I'd hope I'd be able to tell the kid what happened so they could meet their biological parents, ad I'd sure want to meet my actual kid too.

Situation #2
You have lost a job do to no fault of your own. The company you worked for has always paid your health insurance 100%. The have told you in the past that they pay the insurance the middle of the month to cover the next month. The job ends in April-the ending of the month. You figure that May has been covered and it has. In May you pay for the coverage of June. In June you pay for the coverage of July. As you do this the office gives you a receipt. In July you get a phone call from your old employer that tells you you owe $700, for July's insurance and the next month August. You have been a excellent employ in the past and have saved the company hundreds of dollars, and now they are trying to rip you off, The old Boss says call the business office and talk to them. What do you do and how to you react?

Well forunately in the Land Down Under one does not require insurance to see a doctor in a timely manner and other things like that.
Also, it may be because it's late, but I got rather confused by the whole question...but you really should call them on it, assholes.

Monday Madness

All About Food

1. Are there any weird "food rules" you have? Feel free to list as many as you like.

Oh dear, if I named all of them we'd be here for a real long.
Mainly no salad dressing! Ever.

2. When you were growing up, what ONE thing did your parents always remind you of, when it came to meal time (or cooking)?

Gee I dunno...when I was a bit older packing the dishwasher because that was my job to pack it and unpack, hmpf.

3. Is there anyone you know whose food you won't eat (for one reason or another)?

Nope.

4. Is there anything you "specialize" in cooking, that people actually ask for?

Nah...excpet maybe cake, yum.

5. When you were growing up, what one meal do you remember as being your favorite?

Frankfurters!

6. Today, what is your IDEAL meal?

Mum's lasagne, alas I only had the Coles No Name kind.

Monday's A Bitch

1. Have you ever been so excited about something that you've gone to a special midnight release? This could include midnight movie premieres, book releases etc.

Nope because I've never really known anything to be released here at midnight...maybe the Nitendo Wii, but I didn't want that.

2. There's a whole slew of fantasy films aimed at children coming out in the near future. Are you interested in seeing any of them? Which ones?

I wanna see Order of the Pheonix but I can't find anyone to come with me, what fun is that?

3. Have you ever loved something relatively unknown, only to have it suddenly become a worldwide phenomenon? Do you prefer it when your interests are unique or when they're easily accessible?

Eh, I ain't fussed. I love George III, he's sort of relatively unknown as far as having fans go. He's probably up in Heaven going, "Whaa?"

4. Are there any books from your childhood that you still like to re-read sometimes?

Oh yes! All of them if you please.

5. What are your feelings on the Harry Potter series coming to an end?

Well, they'll always be fanfic, and their actually is quite a number of good ones out there, good stuff.

Ow, my shoulder is beginning to hurt again from so much typing, so I'm gonna give up here.

I'm watching the Tour, ah the Pelaton, my favourite! But it's time for bed, so I will have to leave the wheels and pedals there.
