I saw this on
smudge_pot's LJ and put my hand up and she asked what the deal was with:
air disasters: It's sounds bad, but for a long time I've been most intrigued by the techniques and technologies used to solve the mystery of various air crashes and the events that led up to them.
more cheese: Well, I all ready had cheese as an interest, but on someone else's LJ interest list they had put "More cheese" and I thought to myself, the only thing I love more than cheese...is more cheese! ;O)
quincy: I should add M.E on the end of this because quincy is also some sort of weird disease, but anyway Quincy M.E is this old school late 70s-early 80s medical/murder drama starring Jack Klugman as Quincy, the hard headed Medical examiner who always knows when murder is afoot. He likes to yell a lot, most amusing.

2631. There was a sculpture that was supposed to be displayed for a week in the Rockefeller Center in NYC of a falling woman - designed as a memorial to those who jumped or fell to their death from the World Trade Center. It was complained about as grotesque, inappropriate, and described as "not art." What do you think?

What it's like to take cocaine personally
How it feels to suffer 3rd degree burns (knock on wood)
02643. It seems to me that a lot of people don't value their lives, or life in general very highly. Why do you suppose that is?
Well, I think it's more due to the fact that they don't actually believe they or anyone they know will actually die. If they have a close call or someone close to them dies, it's a big shock.
Are you like that?
Nah.
2644. Do you celebrate the harvest moon?
I don't even know when that is.
2645. Do you believe in out-of-body experiences?
Indeed, although sometimes it's not much fun...it's like disassociation and you feel really dizzy and shit.
2646. Why does so much depend upon a red wheel barrel glazed with rainwater beside the white chickens?
Huh? What are you on?
2647. Why do so many people get jobs that they dislike?
Because they're bloody desperate, you've got to eat after all.
2648. Do you think that in THIS world, being creative is a handicap?
Not really...
Why or why not?
But sometimes it can be.
2649. Do you ever get chills or shivers during movies? What movies?
Well, the shower scene from Psycho which I saw a brief clip of scared the shit out of me!
2650. Do you believe in the collective unconsciousness (that people are like onions.. the outer layers are individualistic, and the deeper you go, the more similar we all are)?
Dunno...people often seem to know or describe the same sorts of things even though there doesn't seem to be a reason for it. Intriguing...
Well, that took a long time, and I want to play Sims 2! So off I go now.
Ta ta for now.

It's from a poem, I think by Robert Frost but I can't remember.
