Secretive Net Surfing Strikes Again...

anonymoose_au1:03pm: I really, realy shouldn't be doing this, but it seems everyone else has decided to take their Easter Long Weekend early, I've been here since a quarter to nine and in that time I've got two emails in the inbox, one an advertisement and one wishing the boss a Happy Easter.
So I'm just sitting here answering the phone every now and then and trying not to poke my nose, it's sore again, I guess I must have stirred up all this dust while I was cleaning last night. Speaking of which, the horror! The day has finally come, my parentals are coming to stay the night and it's not clean! I tried to clear it up this morning, but all I succeeded in doing was the washing up and being late for work! Fortunately the boss isn't in, plus I came to work 10 minutes early on one day and stayed back 10 mintues on another so it all works out, but I'm not sure how to write it on my timesheet. Just say 8:30 to 5 so I don't have to screw around with fractions?
In better news my digestive problems have calmed down a whole lot, ironically enough not a day after I visited the doctor to bitch about it! LOL! I didn't even end up taking any of the Buscopan I brought, oh well, no harm!
My heel is still tingly and sore, and when I walked down the 30 (give or take) steps to the office here it was quite uncomfortable. I hope it's just a bruise and I haven't weakened my achielles, because if I do that in I'll be really stffed!

1. Who was your best friend?
Well, I had more than one best friend, but most of them weren't actually at my high school, of my group there I'd say...Elva. I haven't seen Elva in ages and ages, I feel bad.
2. What sports did you play?
In Year 8 I was on the Trampolining team and was even in a competition (I didn't win anything, but I am surprised I actally managed to get through it! Wow, I had more guts than I thought!), but around Year 9 I began getting dizzy and prone to motion sickness, so I stopped.
3. What kind of car did you drive?
What is this car you speak of? Most school kids in Australia didn't have cars in school, probably because there's no student parking, and you have to be 17 before you can apply. I did learn to drive in the Nissan Skyline when I was in High school, took me seven goes to pass the Learner Driver test, they kept asking me really bizarre questions!
4. It's Friday night, where were you?
At home writing my George McFly story, surfing the net, or watching TV/videos. I was a nerd and a hermit and proud of it!
5. Were you a party animal?
Pft...haa hahahaha! Hell noez!
6. Were you considered a flirt?
Er no.
7. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir?
Nope! We did have to practice hymns for any masses we had during the school year (it was a Catholic Girls' school), and dear me, I subjected my voice on a lot of people...it was never good.
8. Were you a nerd?
Homer Simpson said it best, I was a - "Neeeeeeeerrrrrrd!"
9. Did you get suspended/expelled?
Certainly not, I did get a detention for the dumbest reason ever, forgetting my PE clothes. Bah! My parents agreed and I didn't even get a stern talking too for it.
10. Can you sing the fight song?
I don't recall the school as a whole having a fight song, we had a school song, but it certainly wouldn't have intimidated anyone who heard it. At Sports and Swimming Carinvals each house would have a standard House cry, sometimes one would be made up. There'd always be a big House meeting before the carnivals to practice them and find out what mascot would represent us (we had an octopus and Garfield the year we changed the House colour from Tan to Orange.)
11. Who were your favorite teachers?
Ms. Quinn- English teacher Year 11 and 12. (I don't care what anyone else says :OP)
Ms. Barr- English teacher Year 7.
That Maths teacher who left to have a baby in Year 9. (The replacement we got was terrible!)
Mr. Hamper Geography Year 11 and 12. (Oh man, that dude was hilarious!)
12. Where did you sit during lunch?
Well in Australia there is six years of High school so it varied quite a lot, in Year 11 and 12 we sat in this alcove under the stairs that went up to the staff room.
13. What was your school's full name?
Monte Sant Angelo Mercy College.
14. School mascot?
Australian school's don't really have mascots I believe. We had a school badge, but it wasn't very exciting.
15. Did you go to prom?
We have dances not Proms, there was the compulsary Dance with St. Joseph's Boys School in Year 9, that was awful, one of my friends kept kicking my butt and I broke the pearl necklace I was wearing. Year 10 was the Debutante Ball, but I didn't go to that, in Year 11, I don't know what my school had, bu I went to a Fancy Dress dance that was held by Zep and Ben's school, I had just brought Ol' Red, so I went as a vampire...unfortunately the dress was tight around the top...and it also kept slipping down a bit.
And finally the Big One in Year 12, I went with Ben and the school wouldn't let us invite Zep along. It was great fun, and the last time I wore Ol' Red because even though I had straps added to it, the boobage factor was too great.
16. If you could go back and do it over, would you?
Oh yeah! I loved school! Learning stuff, hanging with your friends everyday...good times.
17. What do you remember most about graduation?
"Oh shit, I have to go up there!" Our graduation took place in the church down the road and we had a mass to celebrate it. Everyone got a personalised candles (Micki's name was spelt wrong on her's! The only one too, even though there were kids with much harder names than that) and we had to get our certificate by going up onto the altar and shaking the Principals hand. I never saw what I looked like in the photo that was taken, but I'm sure I must have been grimacing.

Ooh, that's a toughie...Geography or Ancient History or English.
19. Where were you on senior skip day?
We didn't have that, although a few years before they did have a Senior Joke Day, but it was stopped after an incident with a goat and the top level of the school.

Yes, I worked two or three afternoons a week, three hours at a time at Mosman Library, shelving the books, good times! Except when I was caught slacking off and reading the books!

Maybe four or five kilos? I'm not sure.
23. What did you do after graduation?
Drunk a lotta beer and stayed out allll niiiight! Took a year off to save money for a trip around the world (hasn't happened yet) and qualify for Youth Allowance. It was a good experience.

Can't remember the day but it was November 2001. Although technically the last time I attended classes was in late September, after that came the HSC.
25. Who was your senior prom date?

26. Are you going to your 10 year reunion?
Dunno, but probably not unless some of my friends go.

I had six and I can't remember any of them...probably because more often than not I was late to school and had to sign in rather than go to Homeroom.
