This is How I Roll...

11:10pm: With Nano!

(For some reason, the word metre I was using, Zudok's one or something has gone off line, apparently whoever owns it hasn't paid their bill or some such things. Well, this counters pretty nifty looking.
(Where does that 'This is how I roll...' thing come from anyway?)
Anyway, last night I had a rather uncomfortable dream where no matter how hard I tried I kept getting late to the pyschiatrist, I paid for parking, I crashed my car, I even rode a bicycle! Then when I finally did get there late, other people kept coming in and I never got to say what I needed too! Then it enter the REALLY bizzare stuff where for reasons unknown I had to take a shower in the office. The fuck? I mean I was behind a curtin and all, but seriously? That was just...not right!
However when I woke up I had this sudden realisation, for about a week now I've been worried that my medication has been disturbing my sleep, but I realised that there was something in common with the days I couldn't sleep right, no exercise! No walking or going outside or anything like that! Well, no wonder I've been having problems, watch me be a dumb ass huh? So, I'm hoping that with proper exercise every day (as in going for a walk or something) that will clear up and I'll be snoozing as normal.
I also decided while speaking with my psychiatrist (I showed up at 2 minuts to 11 and he kept me waiting 15 minutes LOL!) that I should really enroll in a library course, I do so love books after all, so why not go for it? Except my mother threw cold water on that idea kind of by mentioning that if I go back to school, I won't be able to stay in the apartment. Considering that Mum and Dad are going on that trip around the world and most likely renting out their house, where exactly am I going to stay? Mum said if I do the course part time and work during the day I can stay here though. I was going to take this 2 year Tafe course, which would take 4 years part time (I'd be 27 by the end of it, holy shit!), but it turns out my old uni has a 1 year course, sooo that would work. I did notice though, that you have to do 8 elective subjects in the course of the program. I'm a bit concerned about that because I've kind of done all the electives I wanted to do in my Bachelors. On the otherhand I assume the have different subjects, maybe even a Publishing and Editing one! Ooh, I'd be all over that one.
I've got 'til the end of the month to decide what I'm going to do.
This morning Mum came home and gave me the weekend My Career section of the paper, on the front page was an article about working in New York and on the third page a story about getting published! LOL! That's hilarious! I'm going to read the latter and see what it says, if I became a world famous author I could stick around here on the net and do my research. :OP
And in further news, my breads OK, but my potatoes are off, I cooked one up tonight and yuk! Damn, I suck...the pumpkin's a bit dodgy too, but it tastes OK, although it falls about like soup, ick, soup!
FOUR FOR FRIDAY
Q1 - Faith: Nearly half of all Americans are not sure God exists, according to a poll that also found divisions among the public on whether God is male or female or whether God has a human form and has control over individual or worldly events. The survey conducted by Harris Poll found that 42 percent of U.S. adults are not "absolutely certain" there is a God compared to 34 percent who felt that way when asked the same question three years ago. What do you think? Does God exist, and if so, do you think God has control over events?
Yeah, He's up there, I like to imagine Him the white beard and white robes. However, I also think He probably looks like whatever you believe God looks like, I mean it's GOD! As for World Events, nope, He gave us free will, so we have to make the best of it. Of course, it sucks when it comes to Natural Disasters, but I guess I can understand, if God controlled those, He might as well control our choices too.
Q2 - Work: Do you socialize with co-workers outside of the office?
Well, once when there was a power outage, but aside from that nope not really, actually I think I lost the opportunity at getting a job because I was unethusiastic about the after-work drink Fridays.
Q3 - Holiday Travel: Are you traveling for the upcoming holidays or are you expecting family and friends to come to your home for Thanksgiving and/or Christmas?
Nope, I'm too poor to go to New York, I don't want to be away from my family at Christmas and I'm kind of afraid to drive on rural roads and highways so I'm not going out of town.
Q4 - You Choose: Which would you rather have...a personal assistant or a personal trainer?
Hmm...geee...I guess a personal assistant because they could keep me organised and tell me to get my ass down to the gym so I won't need a personal trainer. :OP
Friday Fun
Friday Frosting
1. Do you decorate your house for the fall? Give us a breakdown, maybe even a picture?!
Nope, although Easter does occur around Easter here in Australia, but I've never seen anyone decorate their house for Easter.
2. Do you decorate for the fall holidays, like Halloween and Thanksgiving? If so, when do you start?
Don't have these holidays.
3. Do you decorate for Christmas or other December celebration? If so, how early do you start?
Yes, sir, but not the super cool way that many people in the outer suburbs of Sydney do, they have a nice big competition and people come from kilometres around to see the houses. Man, they've got some brilliant stuff.
4. Do you have any holiday decorating traditions?
No decorations go up until Advent starts, none of this decorating months in advance stuff, can you believe some shops are bringing out the Christmas decos and music all ready? Also the pine cones, we've had numerous fake trees over the years, but the pine cones have been around forever.
5. Do you have a favorite decoration? Show us!
Don't have a picture of it, but it's the Santa Claus I brought in Bali with an HUGE hate and teeny feet and hands! I have to get a pic because it's the cutest thing!

The (Other) Friday Five
Music Soothes the Savage Beast
Or so they say...
1) What was the first CD/Record/Album/Artist you ever bought and what format was it in? (Vinyl/Cassette/CD/MP3 Download)?
That would be the Corrs Forgiven Not Forgotten CD if you're talking about my own money, but before that Dad brought us The Chipmunks Sing the Blues (hey shutup!) and The Chipmunks Rock the House on cassette. The first CD we ever got was The Simpsons Sing the Blues.
2) How do you usually listen to music? (iPod/Walkman/Stereo/Radio)
Either the radio, or on the computer.
3) What is your favorite genre of music and why?
Eh, I'm eclectic, I like all sorts of stuff, except for Techno and most of the crap they put out today...call me a fan of the Golden Oldies!
4) What is your opinion on music video shows and music televion?
Eh, I don't really watch it, I like to listen to songs I like and they're usually too old to be shown on those shows and what not.
5) Do you usually agree with who the winners of the Grammy Awards are?
Don't watch, so I don't know who they are.
Hmm, a large amount of the Friday Memes missing today...
And I would like to say What the Flying FUCK to this, that's seriously the stupidest shit I've ever heard! And 50 million dollars? Cripes, can people sue the Government for misappropiation of funds? I haven't heard of such a waste of Health Care dollars since the Federal Government here in Aus, rejected a Nationwide Dental plan in exchange for a $5 tax cut!
And on a more serious note, please go here, because Child Pornography is digusting and should be stopped the sooner the better.
And on that note, good night all!
