11:35pm: So the Men's Free Program of the Russian Figure Skating Skating Nationals is on right now, and I've just been treated to the sight of one of the weirdest costume choices I've ever seen. This chap came out dressed in what appeared to be a throw back to children's clothing in the early 1900s in BRIGHT ASS BLUE and then skated to music that had absolutely nothing to do with the costume! It was bizarre! He also had clear duct tape on his skates.

Oh wait, someone at the skating forum I'm in has come to the rescue and explained it, apparently it's the same sort of costume worn in the movie his music was from, Django Unchained/ Good to know, because otherwise it just looked like everyone on the guy's team had some weird ass hallucination.

All the same it was some weird shit.

And dang, I've been so caught up in watching that I missed out completing my Russian practice for today. Damn.

In other news, I did some last minute shopping and managed to get all my Christmas presents only to discover I don't have any ribbon left to wrap said presents! Well, that is I had enough ribbon for three of them, but there's still the little bro's and Dad's to wrap. I guess I could just use sticky tape, but I can feel my mother judging me from here, LOL.

Anyway, it's actually past midnight now so I better wrap this up quick and get back to watching my Russians, they're not doing very well at all so far. I wonder if something's wrong with the ice.
