Dude, Where's My Resume Folder?
Jul. 13th, 2016 11:23 pm10:26pm: As it turns out I don't need it, because I managed to find the official transcript for my Masters in Information Studies that I need to take to the interview tomorrow. However, I really should put it in a folder so it doesn't get tattered or dog-eared. Also..there's some important stuff in that folder...I could have sworn I saw it only last month but it's nowhere to be found now. I guess it'll turn up when I start packing to move out.
In other news, I need to figure out what to wear! Normally for interviews I wear a dress or skirt, but I've kind of neglected to wax my legs, so you know...plus I'm planning to go to Dee Why Library afterwards for my volunteering and to let the staff co-ordinator person there know how the interview went so I'd probably be more comfortable in pants. Although should I at least wear my dressier shoes? I dunno...
Of course, I'm wondering now if I should have taken my mother up on her offer to go over the position description and whatnot so I could be prepared for any questions I might get from the interview panel. However, she called me at about 4pm and I didn't really feel like heading out, although it's school holidays so the traffic would probably have been fine. But yeah...
Soooo...not much else to report, although I did finally get back to the gym today and to my surprise quite a few people turned up to work out as well. Like at one point there were six of us in there! Quite unusual, at least for the past couple of months I've been there. I did go a bit later than usual I suppose.
And now I've procrastinated so much here that it's quite late and I gotta do my Russian before I hit the hay!
On a final note, an Aussie won a stage of Le Tour De France yesteday, whoo! How cool is that. :OD And the pelaton just went through a roundabout, that's my favourite part.
OK, I'm off...wish me luck everyone, tomorrow is going to be some srs bsns.
