The Door Closes And Another Opens!
Sep. 24th, 2015 10:58 pm10:14pm: So the car didn't work out the way I hoped...namely, the car is due for a huge service which will cost over $1,000 and it needs new tyres. So basically, it would be quite expensive to get it, too expensive for my mother and I guess, for me too. I mean...it doesn't even have five doors and that makes life difficult no matter what I wrote yesterday.
However...I could resist looking online for more car possibilties and that's when the other door opened...there was a Citroen on there, nice and bubble shaped and green, of course and at $6,000 was cheaper than the Getz. And then I noticed the name of the person selling it, it was just a first name, but it was the same as one of my friends...a friend who has that exact same car! I couldn't quite believe it, was it possible she was selling it? I couldn't be sure, it's not exactly a common name, but luckily Facebook was there and I was able to send her a message on that rather than email a possible stranger.
Suffice to say she is selling it! And it's just had a service, its tyres are good, the only downside is the rego is about to run out, but fuck that I've always loved that car! I was so jealous when I first saw it, because it's such an awesome car!
I can't really let this opportunity slip away so this weekend I hope to go and see it, although I can't decide if I should go on Saturday or Sunday. I kinda want to see at ASAP, but I can't do it tomorrow because, lucky for me I've been called into the Dee Why Library to do a shift. Yay, money!
And I've got the library shift at Mona Vale Saturday morning, but I was planning on going ice skating afterwards, hmmm, so what to do?
Actually, I should probably do Sunday because then I could hang out with my friend for a while afterwards, whereas if I go on Saturday I'll have to leave quite quickly to get to church on time. Although...Mum wants to come with me, and since I don't have six thousand dollars I still need a loan from the parental units so I guess I'll need to go at a convenient time for her. Further investigation is needed, I guess.
In other news I'm watching that Bodyshockers show, and a woman had a boob job to increase her bust by 4 cup sizes and seems...surprised that they're now so big. Uh...you went up four cup sizes, of course they're huge! But it's a shame for her because she was hoping to feel more confident and whatnot after having the surgery done, suffice to say that wasn't the case.
Anyway, now that I'm updating at a decent hour I can finally catch up on the Memes! I'm sure you're all very excited!

Man, my leg hurts...Mum and I did quite a bit of walking going from the mechanics to the parentals and then back later on but I didn't think I'd be such a wuss about it. Bah.
On a final note...I cleaned up my flat a bit, it's not to Mum-standard but it's pretty good in my opinion, go me!
Oh! And I managed to gather the petticoat tulle together and I've pinned it to the yoke, no sewing yet, I'll have to leave that until tomorrow, I hope it all works out all right!
And on that note, I shall be off!
