It's My ABC!
Apr. 27th, 2011 08:13 pm8:01pm: Yes indeed! Today was my first day and so much information to take in! And so many tapes, it looks like it's going to be a really cool job.
The only annoying thing, I made a mistake with setting my alarm and it woke me up pretty much two hours before I should have been. Goddamn, so unsurprisingly, I'm most sleepy.
There's also bad news in terms of The Chaser - they were supposed to be doing satrical Royal Wedding Commentary, there's even been ads on TV, but rules put out by Clarence House means it's been pulled! :O( This is a HUGE bummer! I saw one of the Chaser's production team at work today, and they were working feverishly getting everything together for the big day! So apart from anything else, think of all the time those boys have spent putting everything together. I suppose it's too late to hope for a a change in the rules or a radio-cast instead. Which totally sucks, I was so looking forward to it!
Anyway, I've just got off the phone with M as I promised to call her up about my first day, she had some slightly disturbing news about Grandpa - apparently he's unwell in the stomach area. But seeing as I'm fine I can assume it's food poisoning or something, rather than a bug. At least it better be! I don't need that kind of crap (no pun intended :OP)
Speaking of the job! There's also a library of a book-like nature in the ABC, I was going to look at it today, but I decided to do crossword puzzles instead. I may go in tomorrow, they've got giant soft toys in there of Playschool characters. I was most amused when I spotted them.
Anything else to report? Not really...no memes today, I'll do a quiz instead.
This is highly incorrect, I don't really have goals, at least not concrete ones which make persuing them most difficult. I do juggle multiple projects when it comes to RPG-ing, but at work that's just a receipe for disaster!
Hmm should I watch that what is sure to be terrible made-for-TV movie about William and Kate? Hmmm, maybe for the LOLs, since we shan't be getting any on the big day!
