Make It Quick...
Jun. 15th, 2009 10:56 pm10:41pm: Indeed I must, work tomorrow after all!
I'm not feeling loved at the moment when it comes to my hopes of being a Librarian, first of all, it seems I can't bloody read and the close of applications was the first of June not the 15th! So now it looks like I won't be getting into my second half of the course until next year!
Which means I can't really tell the school I was going to apply to as an Assistant Librarian that I'm in the middle of my course and studying for the rest of it. Not to mention the fact I think I missed the deadline for that job too.
Zero for two it would appear.
Monday Movie Meme
This week's movie topic is all about Trauma...
This week's topic is brought to you by the ever uplifting Sandy @ You've GOTTA Read This! She suggested we share which movies have shaken us to the core so much that we've never been the same because of them.
Hmmm, ooookay, I don't like scary movies and this is why! I did once see a scene of a film on the SBS that I don't even want to think about right now...because yikes, did that scare the shit out of me! :Oo
Also Jaws, fuck man, that was so scary that even the book kept me up all night and that was just the prologue!
Anyway, that's the only Meme up right now and good news, the Librarian job doesn't close to 23rd June, so there's still some time...Especially if I can somehow get myself into the course, maybe it won't be full...
And that's all I have to say for today.
