Let's Go Pilgrim...
Jul. 18th, 2008 11:35 pm10:40pm: So my father has managed to get a hold of a whole lot of tickets to the Final Mass on Sunday. After much thought, I have decided that I'm gonna take one of them, because hey when will I get the chance to see mass given by the Pope?
I'm actually a little bummed I didn't go to more World Youth Day events as many sounded very interesting, but live and learn, I suppose.
Anywho, the problem is I didn't decide to go until I had all ready driven back to my apartment after dropping of my uncle Peter (whose here for World Youth Day) near his hotel. So I don't have a ticket, and I forgot to bring my Pilgrim bag with me! So I'll have to catch the train over to the parentals to pick those things up tomorrow. Well, I suppose I need more fresh air and stuff and it'll give me a chance to see all the pilgrims hanging out around town.
Anywho, good news, I got a fanfic review, yay! I haven't been forgotten after all. :O) I've almost got another chapter ready...but I've still got a bit more to go.
( Stop! Meme Time! )
Oh no! We've lost both picture and sound from the Tour de France! This is terrible, I can't see any peloton action...very lame.
But wait we've got the picture back at least...hopefully the commentary will return in due course.
It's just not cricket without Phil Liggett the commentator!
Speaking of cricket, my father the Cycling Philistine said that the Toure was more boring that cricket! As if!
Although admittedly without the commentary it's dragging, though there have been quite a few good shots of the peloton going around the roundabouts a very cool image - I can't find any of that though, so instead enjoy this humourous one.
Anywho, I best be finishing this off here as I have to go to bed sooner rather than later.
So I bid you all goodnight.
