Hey Everyone Let's Talk About Jesus! And Pie...

LOL, I've probably sent you all running...or at least thinking "What in the name of all things clean...?!" But fear not, I'm not gonna make some weird Mormon-like statements or any such think, that title up there is merely to illustrate that tonight we had one of our priests, Father Anthony over for dinner. I'm not sure why, but he's a good conversationalist and has good advice! I've always wanted to ask a Priest certain stuff, you know "What's the deal with Lot?" "What do you think about how the Bible shows women?" "What about women priests?" and so forth. He didn't actually get around to explaining about why there can't be women priests (seeing as its never said anywhere in the New Testament that women can't be priests), but I did find out something about the Gnostics. They're a strange bunch those Gnostics, apparently they have a 'secret' knowledge, but they won't say what it is, because you have to know it to get into the group. Anyway, it appears they think even less of women then most, to the extent where it says in one of their books that women can't get into Heaven unless they become like men. Don't know what that means...but I'm not sure why anyone would say that to Jesus...who you know, had a mother. :OP Religious texts can be so weird...

But yes very interesting talking to Ft Anthony, I even asked his advice on what I should I do regarding jobs and what not...funnily enough that was a Prayer of Intercession at Church tonight! Talk about the irony, I tell you God's trying to tell me something. Father T being a priest of course recommended introspective prayer and also you never know what job you may end up doing and enjoying. Good point, must get into calling those publishers on Monday.

Anyway, moving right along, umm...no Simmies today! I got caught up in looking at Fairly Odd Parents stuff...talk about weird obsessions...they're getting odder all the time, but there's a precedent, Cosmo is green, I love green and I also like pie! :OD So I've been looking at all the fanart on DeviantArt.net, there sure is a lot! That's like the only time one of my interest has had that happen, I looked up Harry on the DeviantArt search and hardly found shit. Good stuff.

Anyway, for some reasong my arm is buzzing at me...maybe I've spent too much time on this computer or something...Beyond that I'm pretty damn tired, so I think I'm gonna hit the hay.
