Whoo! What A Haul!
Aug. 21st, 2005 04:40 pmI've been back for quite some time actually, but I was chatting to Doc's Girl about all the comics I got today...I dropped 60 bucks, but da-yamn it was worth it. I love these things!
The only problem...I REALLY should have bought one of the comics I saw today...curses! Ah well, them's the breaks I guess and besides they'll be other Collectible Conventions, there's one coming up in October in fact, a big one, so I'm sure I'll be able to get some there. That's the nature of comics of course...you always want more, foul temptors!
So yeah, got a stack of neato Spidey comics to enjoy! Wheee! :OD I even got a four issue retrospective on Spidey's Life and Times for five bucks. Noice.
In other news...not much, except it didn't take nearly as long to get to Paramatta as I thought, so that was a plus. Also I saw some funny stuff there, like a pack of those Special Iraqi's Most Wanted Deck of Cards (I was seriously tempted to purchase a pack), old Macca's toys that took me back (heh, I feel old) and original Star Wars figures...wow...they cost like a hundred bucks each.
I also saw a Sunstar model DeLorean! It was so cool! :OD Unfortunately, it was $95 so I had to content myself with getting a crappy picture with my mobile, which I can't upload to the net because my damn phone won't connect to it.
So yeah, long story short, much fun had by me except for the fact I didn't get every comic I wanted, they've got these old Spidey reprints, but since the numbers are different from the originals, it's hard to match them up on my list.
Righto...I'm off to surf the net...bask in my comics and whatnot. More later. :O)
