anonymoose_auIt seems they've taken to repeating The Glasshouse on Friday nights, damnit too late for me to get last week's one, that bites! :O( But hey at least this will mean if the tape stuffs up or something I'll be able to get it anyway...
Damn, can't find my hotwater bottle anyway, I seriously must have left it on the bus weeks and weeks ago, nuts it was like $7 or something and I don't have much money to spend since I have to give my friends money for the presents...also gotta get my hair straightened tomorrow, but not shampooed and stuff 'cause I'm a poor bastard.
Still wondering why I'm not very excited about the party I usually love to see the friends, but at the moment all I seem to be able is worry about driving the car to my friends house with my other friends...I really don't like driving with people in the car because I stick my tongue out of my mouth when I drive and I also feel like I have to talk to them...
How lame am I! Don't I have better things to do than worry?

Four For Friday
Q1: Which is a bigger waste of time in your life... being stuck in traffic or being placed on hold during telephone calls? Which do you find more annoying?
Being on hold, I mean there's not much one can do about traffic, but smeg at the call centre get some more people on the job to take calls or something! Or at least get some decent music on those things! At least in the car you can listen to the radio station of your choice...
Q2: The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) recently rejected a petition from a consumer group asking that product placements on TV be clearly labeled as such. The FTC said that the use of products by characters in fictional television shows or contestants on reality TV shows like American Idol or The Apprentice does not constitute an objective claim to the quality of the product being shown on screen. What do you think... have the lines become blurred on this one? Should television shows be barred from using overt product placements, or should they at least be made to disclose these sorts of practices before, during, or after (in the credits) the shows in question?
I'm a bit to tired for this..but yeah I think if it's overt that during the credits something should be mentioned, but not in the middle of the show or something with those annoying scrolling things across the bottom of the screen. It makes it more true to life though when fictional characters use the same stuff as we do. I don't watch Reality TV, so I don't care.
Q3: With just about every business under the sun now accepting bank check cards and debit cards, do you find that you carry more, less, or the same amount of cash as you did 5 or 10 years ago?
I definitely carry more cash now since 10 years ago I had no job nor any pocketmoney, in fact I didn't even have a wallet. Five years ago I had cash in hand work so I probably carried more money then then I routinely do now, however since it does cost money to keep using Debit Cards I often take out a large chunk of money at the beginning of the week...keeps the spending down. Also I have to bring my mother $100 every fortnight so I gotta take that out. It's also a good idea to keep money on you in case of the unforseen, which in my case is no ATM native to my bank, they charge an extra $2 to withdraw from a misc. ATM, screw that!
Q4: What's the last song you downloaded from the Internet? If you've never downloaded music, what's the last CD you bought at a store or received as a gift?
The Family Guy Unoffical Album I love Family Guy and this was brilliant! With all the songs from the show and some funny quotes and whatnot, I'm really glad I got my hands on it...if an Offical CD existed I'd purchase it, but I've brought the DVDs and stuff.

1] Has there ever been a moment in your life that you wish could have
LASTED forever? In other words, you would have frozen time at that
very second in order to live that moment for eternity? When did it
happen, and how did you feel?
Geeze, that's a hard one...well my 21st/Parents 25th/New Years Party was fabulous! But not many of my friends could be present so...It's really had to know I mean the same moment FOREVER? I don't know...when I was young with my trampoline...I loved that thing, I wanted to jump on it forever :O). But to give up everythiing's that happened since...I don't think so.
2] Have you ever finished in LAST place, whether during a race, a
contest, a competition, an exam, or something else? How did it make
you feel? When a situation like that occurs, do you usually maintain
a positive attitude or feel like you have completely failed?
Last year I took a Journalism Class, Media, Information and the Law I really enjoyed the subject and was interested in it and tried my hardest, yet I got the lowest mark of any student in the class...it was pretty embarrassing and I felt like an idiot since here were these people having a bitch about only getting 70 or 80% and I was scrapping by with 60% I felt like saying 'Shut UP'. Oh well, the teacher liked me, and it did Ok I guess...
3] Who's the LAST person you talked with on the phone? E-mailed?
Received an e-mail from? Hugged? Went out to lunch with? Thought
about? Made something for? Made plans with? IMed?
The last person I talked to on the phone: My mother about getting my hair done for the party tomorrow (tonight).
The last person I emailed: My friend Micki to RSVP for her party.
The last (legit) person who emailed me: Micki with the invite to her party and the last email I've gotten today was the monthy Hotmail thingo...bah!

I treat myself nice all the time! Playing Sims 2, going on the computer IMing friends etc. etc. Brought myself some chocolate this afternoon because my stomach is finally feelling better and all that.
Nah don't usually buy myself a birthday or Christmas present, if I see something I really want, I'll get it then get someone else to give it to me and get my money back! :OD
5] What do you think you'll be doing on the LAST day of this month
(February 28)? If you could choose a month and have it LAST forever
(in other words, it would be July all the time from now on), which
month would you choose and why?
Since it's a Monday and the last day before March Uni will be going back and I'll probably be busy at the Uni after doing my papers to see what time my classes are on and changing any that are on at a bad time etc. Might be seeing some friends if we set it up or something...
If I could choose a month that could last forever it'd be December, in Australia it's Summer and there's the benefit of Christmas, so presents for everyone! :O)

Ummm, would have to be Scotland, when we went to Lochness to see the Monster :O) We did see bubbles running across the surface of the lake! Exciting! :O) We might have gone a bit further up, but I'm not sure...
FQ2: What's the furthest South you've been on this world? What were you doing there?
Somewhere in New Zealand...probably to the place I can't spell that has the jumping mud flats, it was the family's first ever trip overseas (we left Dad at home because we were going on Grandpa's yatch and Dad gets seasick as my big bro and I now do) and were sightseeing.
FQ3: Where were you born, and what's the furthest you've been from that spot?
I was born in Canberra, and I guess Lochness would be the furtherest I've been from there.
FQ AWAY: Name a blog you read that's the most distant from you... whether it be emotionally, culturally, religiously, or by physical location.
Geeze...uh I think someone on my friend's list lives in Canada, so that's pretty far...all my LJ friends are generally of Western cultures so there's not too many surprises there...

1) Would you rather live in a world with or without technology such as computers, cars, airplanes, bombs?
I'd rather live in a world with technology because as bad as it sometimes can be, it can also be used for good and I'm hoping that's what it's often used for, rather than the bad stuff.
2) If you had to live without either heating in your house or air conditioning, which one would you keep?
I'd ditch the airconditioner, it's easier for me to get cold then it is to heat up, my poor fingers and toes sure suffer during winter!
3) If you had to own five dogs, what kind would you get?
I do not like dogs, I'm sorry but I don't, but if I had no choice, no big ones because they scare me so probably small ones that are quiet and trained well...not sure what kind...
4) If the world had a front porch, what would you do on it?
:OD Put a nice Welcome mat, c'mon the aliens are probably nice :O)
5) Would you rather live in a neighborhood where you know all of your neighbors by name, or where everyone sticks to their own business?
Gee that's hard, since it would depend on the personality of the neighbours, I mean if they're nice people who I like then sure it'd be cool to know 'em all, but if they're pains in the ass as neighbours often are then everyone should stick to their own business...
Ok there is more, but stuff it I'm too tired, it's 12.51pm now and I have to get up in the morning...
