anonymoose_auSo I got a invitation to go to a morning tea (or as I typed out originally mourning tear...hmmm Freudian Slip?) at my old school! The problem is who else is going to what to go? I mean it involves a Reunion Mass in the Chapel first up! No-one I know wants to go to a church. But anyway I decided to go take a look at the website and even looked in the Employment Section to see if there were any jobs avalible. Wouldn't that be freaky? Working at your old school! :O0 I may have been tempted to work in the Library that was a good Library :O), but alas no positions there...besides I had that weird dream a while back about the old Alma Mater. The toilets were converted into a Library, there was a killer on the loose (I think) and everywhere I went there were dead ends.
But yes, then I noticed this page, for the Mercy Action Group! Now I was in this group and we campaigned for Fair Wear ie: Fashion Manufactures pay proper wages to outworkers (mostly poor non-English speaking migrants) and fair wages in general. Ah those were the days. :O) Anyways, in the last year of school some people and I were supposed to be in charge of creating a webpage for it! We never did get around with it and we certainly didn't have such a nice background and text and stuff...ours looked like a really bad Powerpoint presentation. On the other hand the Monte Webpage apparently takes AGES to load (I'm not sure if it'll happen to you, but I'm on ADSL here and it taking some mintues for it to come on.)
However, it is wierd to see the old school :O( I'm not sure I wanna go to the Reunion, getting old makes me anxious, however it would be interesting to see the old classmates and hear what they're up to.
Also I have the rest of the Glamourous Pics that I paid through the nose for! Here they be:
That's my new sun dress...it was a great find, it seems muted colours are in which don't suit me! When I put on a light pink dress I looked like a wash-out Sex in the City Reject (alhtough I've never watched that show.
Here I am in black and white doing the 'Innocent Me' thing, this is the pic my father chose, he likes black and white reminds him of his youth :OP
This is my mother's choice although I was quite depressed by the lack of buttons! Mum says this is the 'Money Shot' and hopes to get it reproduced somehow for the Grandparents.
Ooooh! What fun! Right now on Discovery Channel about Superstructures, and it's looking at the biggest plane in the world...no it's not that Fatass Airbus, it's a Soviet Plane Antonov-225! One of a kind it's absloutely enormous with six engines! It has a pleasing nose shape too, including opening nose function! :O) and to think with the collaspe of the Soviet Union it almost rusted away in a scrapyard...bummer. Must tape this when it comes back on to add to my Collection.
