9:49pm: Wimbledon that is, I've been watch Le Tour, but neglecting tennis! Although having just changed the channel I see there's a rain delay. Well isn't that just like England :OP Some Aussies are supposed to be playing today as well, rude!
I do love Wimbledon though, everyone always looks a touch more classier in their tennis whites. Although of course it will never be the same now that the Fed Ex has retired.
Not much to report today, this was supposed to be one of my Saturday shifts, but as mentioned yesterday I decided to take advantage of the Doctor's Certificate I have to take it off - although now I'm wondering exactly where I put the certificates. I better find them since I'll need to take them in on Monday.
I have however noticed something a bit worrying about my Acer, the left side hinge is...not broken but lopsided? I'm not sure what happened, but it sits lower than the right side. I don't think it's in any danger of breaking, but I'm a little concerned because every so often my laptop screen goes funny and I have to restart it. I was thinking of taking it to the computer shop across the road today, but I felt under the weather so didn't. I guess I can do it Monday afternoon when I have my half day.
I've also just remembered I haven't done my laundry, do'h! On the plus side I don't have to worry about my work pants not being dry because I only wore them once last week. Still better get my ass on that tomorrow.
I've been doing a lot of reading lately, but I've been slacking on that a bit the last few days, I need to get back into that because one of the books I've borrowed from the library is only a 10 day loan with no renewals and I think it might be due back on Monday or something. Now that my brain is not all muffled from the cold I should be good.
I've switched back to Le Tour where it's also raining, but cyclists give no shits and are cycling on anyway. :OP It's a climbing stage or something today which means the polkadot jersey is out in the lead, these guys don't mess around, he's got not just a polkadot helmet, but even gloves and socks! XD
I went to church this evening to help my parents - they do the singing and I man the computer with the PowerPoint of all the hymns. Usually Mum and Dad pick me up, but they had to visit Grandpa beforehand so I met them up there. I'm glad my ears are no longer blocked, because we had the older of the priests and sometimes he's hard to understand wit his accent. But I followed along with the sermon with no trouble.
Lastly, I almost forgot to ask, but as I was leaving I asked Mum how the cupcakes were received, she said they were much appreciated and there's two left over. I'll be able to enjoy them when I go over to their place for lunch tomorrow, I'm supply the roast chicken.
On that note, I shall be off!
