OMG, Get Off My Case...

anonymoose_au10:45pm: So I'm trying to do my Russian study, but I'm attempting to strenghten my skills on the genetive case and I swear to God I'm getting nowhere. We don't have cases in English, at least not that I recall, or if we do we don't have to change the endings six times depending on who has what or where it was, blah blah blah. Very irritating. And don't get my started on the listen and write what you hear bits...why do 'a' and 'o' sound the same in some words?! Who's responsible for that? Big oversight if you ask me.
Anyway, moving on from that, it doesn't look as if the skates I got are going to be of any use, I rang the skate shop about it, and the guy said the blades can only really be changed if they're the same lenght and brand, which they aren't. Boo. Oh well, at least it was only ten bucks.
Also...I took the Santas to Jaycar after going to the gym, but it would seem the solar panel mechanism itself has gone kaput, so now I have to hope that the Battery place will take the batteries back...except I can't find the receipt. Crap.
I did though find the Sloth PJ top at KMart which I visited after work with Mrs. S. Heh, I don't have a picture yet, but I'll get round to it.
Speaking of getting round to stuff...I have to get to Mrs S's half an hour earlier than usual tomorrow, so I'll only do this quick Meme before I hit the hay.

A bad habit I'm going to break: Leaving my house a mess (progress on this so far is not good)
A new skill I'd like to learn: Uh...Russian? Or at least a bit of it?
A person I'd like to be more like: Can't think of anyone as I'm properly best served as being me. :OP
A good deed I'm going to do: Volunteer at the library maybe? Depends on how much time I have.
A place I'd like to visit: Gee...I dunno. I don't feel like travelling much.
A book I'd like to read: That huge fictional book about Russia that I bought like mid-last year, I really have to get onto that.
A letter I'm going to write: Gee...I have no idea, I don't really write letters...Maybe I'll do one for my brother when his wife has their baby.
A new food I'd like to try: I'm a boring eater, so I can't think of one.
I'm going to do better at: Getting to bed on time...starting tomorrow properly.
