Moose On Ice!

10:30pm: Yes indeed! Finally after three weeks I think (!) I finally got to the ice rink this evening. Hooray! And since it's school holidays it wasn't super busy, so there was lots of room to move about...not that I get too far away from the wall, LOL.
Although at one point a young primary school kid ran into me, although fortunately neither of us was travelling very fast otherwise there could have been some falling down.
I'm getting rather good at skating on one leg, although by one leg I mean with the other one hardly a few centimetres off the ground, but hey it's better than I was doing before!
So, a lot of fun there, although I still think I should try going on Saturdays, but traffic really sucks on the way home during peak hour, plus it's dark!

Stolen from: Lots of Questions
1. If you were to attend a costume party tonight, what or whom would you go as? A humanised Pinkie Pie in her Gala dress! Because I all ready have the costume here!
2. What are your choice of toppings on a hamburger? As a boring person I enjoy simply cheese and tomato sauce.
3. You are chosen to have lunch with the President. The condition is you only get to ask one question. What do you ask? What's the one law you'd pass if you could?
4. It’s your first day of vacation, what are you doing? Sitting on my butt probably :OP Or maybe going skating!
5. What is your concession stand must-have at the movies? I might have a choc-top ice cream, but as a general rule I just smuggle something in, movie snacks are expensive!
6. Which do you dislike most: pop-up ads or spam email? Pop-Up ads, spam email generally goes into the 'Spam' Folder so I just mass delete. Whereas pop-up adds just get in your face and a lot of them have horrible loud music or voice overs and shit.
7. What do you think Captain Hook’s name was before he had a hook for a hand? Due to the fame of Captain James Cook here in Aus, I always thought it was just Captain James, LOL.
8. Rock, paper, or scissors? I like scissors.
9. Let's say a brick fell on your foot, and your kid is standing right next to you, what is your 'cleaned up’ swear word? "FRUIT CAKE!" But to be honest, if it was a brick I'd just straight out swear.
10. Which is worse, being in a place that is too loud, or too quiet? Ooo that's a toughie...too loud can give a headache, but too quiet is creepy...I'm gonna say...too quiet.
11. What is one quality that you really appreciate in a person? A good sense of humour.
12. At the good old general store, what particular kind of candy would you expect to be in the big jar at the counter? I don't think they have those anymore...but I'd think it'd be frogs.
13. What is the most distinguishing landmark in your city? The Sydney Harbour Bridge, of course!
14. Everyone hears discussions that they consider boring. What topic can put you to sleep quicker than any other? Maths. Ewww.
15. How many times did it take you to pass your drivers test? I passed the actual driving bit first go, but it took me three times to pass the written/computer test because they kept asking me weird shit about road trains.
16. If you had to have the same topping on your vanilla ice cream for the rest of your life, what topping would you choose? Ice Magic chocolate topping, yum!
17. What food item would need to be removed from the market altogether in order for you to live a healthier, longer life? Me personally? I guess...chocolate? But don't do that, please!
18. You are offered an envelope that you know contains $50. You are then told that you may either keep it or exchange it for another envelope that may contain $500 or may be empty. Do you keep the first envelope, or do you take your chances with the second? Oooo, $500 is very tempting...but money in the hand is worth more than theoritical money, so I'm taking the $50.
19. If you had to choose, which would you give up: cable TV, or DSL/cable internet? Cable TV, though it would greatly pain me.
20. What is your highest level of education? I have a Masters, not that I'm using it, boooo!
21. How much is a gallon of gas in your city? What was the highest it’s been? We don't use gallons in Australia, but unleaded petrol is about $1.42 a litre. At one point it was like 2 bucks! o.O
22. What kind of lunch box did you have as a kid? Varied, but there wasn't any cartoon characters on it or anything like that.
23. What would you rather have, a nanny, a housekeeper, a cook, or a chauffeur? A housekeeper, because cleaning is a pain in the butt.
24. Would you rather be trapped in an elevator, or stuck in traffic? Definitely stuck in traffic. I don't even want to think about been stuck in an elevator!
