Happy Australia Day!

11:11pm: Yes indeedy! A great time was had by all at the parentals Australia Day BBQ, although there were no proper sausages! A fact I didn't realise until later on. There were chipolatas - those little sausages, but eh they're not the same and I didn't have one. In fact I only had a lamb cutlet. I ate too many little cheese cubes, I think, which is a shame because there were beef patties in the shape of Australia (sans Tasmania) and fresh breadrolls.
Ah well, I saved room for a lamington though, and that's the important thing, LOL. Oh and mini-drops, green and gold ones, most yummy.
Then I went to Church which was good and afterwards I went to Hyde Park to see the vintage cars that were meant to be there...I had looked it up, but only on my mobile and had failed to notice the end time, which was 5pm! That was when Church started, needless to say by the time I got to the park the cars were all gone. Boo. :O( Apparently there had been Ferraris there. Next year I guess.
But good news! I found out where my red skirt was, I had left it at my parents house, Dad had kindly washed it, so hey, go me. Although I didn't bring them home with me because I would have had to carry too many things, Mum is going to bring it and my gym bag over tomorrow which means I have to clean this place up for her inspection!
I should probably go to bed soon in that case, especially since I'm sleepy! I forgot to turn my alarm off from last Saturday with going to Aldi so it woke me at 7:30, rude!
Friday's Question
18/1/13
Which television series do you think are worth watching a second (third? fourth?) time? Which television series do you think are NOT worth watching a second (or first?) time?
Oh definitely The Simpsons, I've got all the DVDs so far and I love to watch them, especially with the commentary on. I'm a big fan of commentary. Also Merlin! The first couple of seasons at least.
Actually I tend to enjoy watching things more than once if I'm into a show that is, so the only ones I wouldn't want to watch more than once are those I don't even like. Something like Big Brother or crap like that.
25/1/13
What dreams do you have over and over? Do you think they mean anything?
I don't really have reoccuring dreams anymore, I used to dream about being on a speeding train a lot, which I suppose reflecting feeling out of control or something? Also while the dreams aren't the same I often have ones involving tsunami sized waves. But I have a fear of those, so I'm not sure if they have any particular meaning.

Unusual Stuff
1. What’s the most surprising or unusual thing to be found in your wallet, purse, or backpack? Ummm...gee I don't think I have anything that unusual....well I do have a souvineer Monorail token in my wallet at the moment.
2. What’s the most surprising or unusual thing to be found on your computer’s hard drive?Pron No I kid. Err....I dunno really, I have a lot of Google Doodles, LOL I love those things.
3. What’s the most interesting thing hanging on your walls? A painting from my old bosses, it's by a Papua New Guinean artist and it's nice and green :OD
4. What’s the most uncharacteristic thing in your fridge? Uh, I think there's a jar of some sort of condiment in there, beats me what it is.
5. What’s something you’ve done in the past year that you thought was going to be awful but turned out pretty good? Hmmm...oh man, I know there's something, but I can't recall it right now. Oh! I guess going to the gym, I thought it'd be pretty boring, but I actually really like it!
Saturday 9
:Stormy Weather:
1) Do noisy storms scare you? Yeah a bit, especially when the thunder first starts and you're not expecting it. Cue jumping out of my seat!
2) Mother Winters tells us Lena Horne was considered one of the great beauties of the 1940s. Whom do you consider one of today's most beautiful women? Angel Coulby is very beautiful! Especially when dressed up as Queen Guinevere :O)
3) Crazy Sam admits it -- there's a big bag of recycling she really should take out to the bin. Yet she's composing this meme. What should you be doing, instead of answering her questions? Cleaning my apartment, or at least putting my laundry on it's sitting in my bathroom waiting to be sprayed but eh.
4) Sam may be crazy, but she's not stupid and will never waste her money on Cialis, no matter how many unsolicited emails she receives! What's the most recent addition to your spam folder? Beats me, I only go there to mark everything to be deleted. I'm sure there's about 50 emails for penis enlargement in there. Pft.
5) What was the last thing you cooked? Sausages!
6) Do you remember the lyrics to your either your high school or college fight song? If so, please share a bit. We didn't actually have a fight song, we had a School song, it was a Catholic school so it went "Upon a hill in Sydney's Northern shore we grew, and took upon ourselves the shade of Mary's mantle blue."
7) "Samantha" is the feminine of "Samuel" and means "Listener." What's the derivation of your first name? Wise, which is pretty damn hilarious all things considered.
8) Are you following the NBA or NHL this year? If so, which team are you rooting for? No.
9) Gloves, umbrellas, sunglasses, keys -- which of these do you misplace most often? Fucking umbrellas man, fucking umbrellas.
Right, it's almost midnight so I better wrap this up now and get ready to go to sleep.
On the plus side I have discovered that earning all those bits in the My Little Pony app won't take five weeks after all, but it's probably gonna be a few more days. Oh well, at least I'll have cleared a lot of rocks and bought a lot of trees by then, LOL.
And now goodnight to you!
