Hmmm...curious results there I must be high on the ADHD scale...heh...shiny.

Also it would appear I'm weirder now, I'd have thought differenlty, but that aside, interesting test there, although the question about how you taste is a bit hard, how should I know how someone else tastes things?

In good new the writing teacher liked my first five pages of my story- yay! :O)But I need to work a bit more on it, since it's already half way through the term and those five pages are all I've done.

Also, as it turned out I didn't get to see the Nobel Peace Prize woman speak anyway, I was running late as usual and they ran out of chairs and there was only standing-room left (and as you know I'm not the standing type). Mum saw it though and when she got home she said it wasn't really good as most of it was question time and since the woman couldn't speak English the interpertateur couldn't really keep up.

Hmmm...also tomorrow is Jesus as the Lamb of God themed, so Dad has got together all the 'lamb' hymns, heh heh, those hymns are so cute! But it's made me wonder where my little sheepy is...but I've just realised he's on the fridge back in Newtown, do'h!

Ah well, he'll have to be there in spirit or something.

Ho-hum...well I think I'll do the Memes now, because I always do them too late on a Friday and am all tired!

FOUR FOR FRIDAY

Q1: Are you concerned about identity theft? If so, what do you do today to protect yourself that you didn't do just a few years ago?

Hmmmm...I'm not really concerned about identity theft, although it is a bit of a worry, especially if you found out a year down the track someone had a bank account in your name and was running up debts! (Happened to some guy on the Crime and Investigation Network) Although I don't like divulging my full name over the net, in fact my email name is "I'm not giving my name to a machine". Although my two private email addresses DO have my name because well sending resumes in the aforementioned name is not a good look.
But having said all that, I'm pretty secure that no-one will nick my idenity (gives very evil look to anyone who'd try it!)

Q2: The summer of 2005 is shaping up to be one of the best on record for potentially blockbuster-level movies. The 40 Year Old Virgin, The Adventures of Shark Boy & Lava Girl, Batman Begins, Bewitched, The Brothers Grimm, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo, The Dukes of Hazzard, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Kingdom of Heaven, The Longest Yard, Monster-in-Law, Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, Triple X: State of The Union, War of the Worlds, and Wedding Crashers. Which movies are you most looking forward to seeing this summer?

Hmmm, well it'll be Winter here, but having said that I'm very specific about the movies I go to, because it's very expensive to go to movies now a days (bah!). I must say that none of these look like my bag, except maybe Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, but that depends. Anyone else seen the promos for Fat Albert, man it looks so fake.
But yeah, probably won't be seeing very many movies.

Q3: At the same time that the U.S. Department of Defense is failing to meet recruitment goals and is forcing some soldiers to stay in Iraq longer than they had signed up for, soldiers are being forced out of the military because they are gay. In light of these facts, or not, how do you feel about the U.S. military's 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' policy?

What the Hell? Is that crap still going on? So apparently it's illegal to ask the question, but if you find out someone is you can boot 'em out? Surely that's unconstitutional. Not to mention dumb, there's this weird idea out there by some men that if another guy is gay they're immediately going to come onto them. It's pretty dumb! Not to mention egotistical. :OP
If the person is trained and able they should be able to do the job regardless of sexual orientation.

Q4: What are your favorite sections of a bookstore?

Just about all of them! Except the Tax Section and the Text Book Section not too interesting those.

Friday Fiver

You-Who

1. Who inspires you?

Ummm...my AIM and LJ friends probably [livejournal.com profile] docsgirl especially (asking questions about OctoGeorge!), so thanks dudes!

2. Who disappoints you?

Leaders of Governments mostly, they talk the talk, but they won't walk the walk! }:O(

3. Who makes you angry?

George W. Bush and John Howard-bah! You guys suck!

4. Who makes you laugh?

My friends! And the Glasshouse people among other TV notables. :O) I love a good joke!

5. Who do you love?

Err...my family and friends, they're great!

Friday Fourm

What was the last ...

1) ... gift that someone gave you? Was it for a special occasion or
just out of the blue? What's the last gift that you have given to
someone else, and why? Did they like it?

LOL! My two bros still haven't given me my brithday presents yet! Hmpf!
Anyway last gift I got was..hmmm...do Easter Eggs count, because my Dad got me a bunny just now, well OK it was for my mother but that aside, it must be the Chicken Piggy Bank from two of my friend's for my 21st Birthday. I had to open the chicken's yesterday to scrap together enough money to take a bus.

2) ... time that you took a walk? Where did you go? Did you walk with
someone or go alone? Did you see anything interesting along the way?
Do you enjoy walking as a form of exercise?

Just yesterday, I didn't have enough money on me to get my bus back from Uni, so I had to walk home, most unfortunately it was very humid and above average temperature so I was sweating something awful by the end of it!
Yeah and I was by myself :O) and I did see something a bit interesting I think there was some sort of tea party going on on one of the lawns at Sydney Uni (which I walked through) and they were all dressed up. Can't remember in what though!
And yes in the right clothes walking is my favourite form of exercise, although I usually buy an ice cream on the way and undo all my good work.

3) ... thing that you thought of before going to bed last night? Why
was it on your mind? Did you sleep well last night? Did you have any
dreams?

Gee, I hope my bro doesn't crap on too long talking with his fiance. Because I can't sleep when he's talking and I wanted to get up early this morning to get that assignment done!
I slept Ok, but my brother woke me up at 3am and he was still on the internet phone, yelling none the less! Geeze!
I probably did dream, but I've forgot them by now...bummer.

4) ... day of high school like for you? What were your feelings on
that day? Do you still keep in touch with any high school friends?

Sort of exciting, sort of sad, after all I never imagined growing up let alone finishing school and also I was worried about what I would do! Also sad because it wouldn't be as easy to see all my friends anymore. But it was the end of school! And everyone was partying and all that and besides there was a real sense of achievement. All in all it was a good day!
But luckily I'm still in touch with my high school friends, the cool people that they are! :O) *Waves to my friends*

5) ... phone call you made? To whom, and how long did you talk? Are
you on the phone often? How many phones do you have at home?

To mother dear to ask about today's Nobel Peace Prize thing, and not for long because I had to write the first pages of the story and didn't have much time to waste, also the bro needed to know if he could take the car.
At the Apartment: 1
Parentals: 3
And we all have our own mobiles.

Friday Fun

Friday Fiction

1. What is your favorite genre of fiction?

Ooh, that's hard I like all sorts of fiction! But mostly real life (by that I mean ficitonal characters interacting in a real world setting) sorts of things or fantasy (heh, what a contrast!)

2. What are you reading right now?

Nothing much, I read a lot of fanfiction now a days, although I think I'm going to reread the Belgariad and hopefully the new Adrian Mole book when my big bro gets it for me.

3. Who is your favorite fiction author? Why?

I really like Judy Blume and J.K Rowling, both of them are experts in their genre, Judy Blume and making normal everyday events in a really interesting page-turning way and JK Rowling writes the fantatic Harry Potter in a way you can relate to and you can wish it was all true! (Well, except the Lord Thingy ;)/Death Eater thing). And of course Jane Austen!

4. Give us your top 5 fiction novels.

1. Starring Sally J. Freedman as Herself By Judy Blume-I thought this one would be boring, but I loved it!)
2.Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets By JK Rowling-My favourite one of the series so far, not sure why. I guess all the Weasley's been there is cool and Percy's whole secret girlfriend>)
3. Pride and Prejudice By Jane Austen- That Mr. Darcy!
4. Sense and Sensibilty By Jane Austen- Yay for the Dashwood sisters and Colonel Brandon of course!
5. Fligh 116 is Down By Caroline B. Cooney- A fictional book about a plane crash, got me interested in the whole airline disaster thing.

Friday Feast

Appetizer
What was your first "real" job?

Sniff...Receptionist at ITP Manly, dear Albert! Best boss in the world! Ah, Albert was great and it was a very pleasant work environment. Also I got to go to the Manly Library and read the books during lunch and I was also able to go to the beach when the weather gets warmer.

Soup
Where would you go if you wanted to spark your creativity?

Hmm...toss up between a walk, a library or the net...they all have their good points, the walk if I've got something in mind I want to refine, the other two for research and getting ideas.

Salad
Complete this sentence: I am embarrassed when...

I forget to do something I promised to do for no good reason! :O(

Main Course
What values did your parents instill in you?

Always do your best, help and respect others and have fun!

Dessert
Name 3 fads from your teenage years.

Umm...dear me...what do the children do now a days! (I was so not into fads!) Hmmm...
1. The Macarena (yeah, I know!)
2. The baggy pants (damnit!)
3. Er...rap?

Friday Q

FQ TOPIC: Broken.

FQ1: What are some items of yours that are broken or needing repair right now?

Hmmm...well the apartment fridge did, but Dad fixed it! Ummm my car too because apparently there's something not right with its exhaust pipe. Er...that's all I can think of.

FQ2: When something breaks, do you tend to live with it broke, repair it yourself, have a professional fix it, or throw it out?

Live with it broken...I'm a lazy asshole :OD!

FQ3: Is there a childhood toy, family heirloom, or some other special item which was broken that you'd very much like to have un-broken?

YES! When I was in England in 1993 I got a Garfield pencil case, I loved it! But two years later in Year Six at a new school in Sydney in 1996...somebody CUT IT!
It was completely ruined and I was so upset because I could never get another one...
And even worse my teacher (who liked me) made the whole class stay in until someone came forward, but no-one ever did...who could have done it I wonder? And how come nobody told on them, was I so unpopular?
Man, I shouldn't have used it for show and tell I suppose, tell people who mightn't like you that something's special to you and it might end up broken!

FQ DESTROYER: What is something you would like to break intentionally, assuming you could get away with it?

Dunno...although right now some asshole out there is playing 'ounce, ounce' music and I sure like to kick that stereo to HELL!

TGIF

Just One

If you were free from any consequence..,

1. ... what one thing would you say to your boss?

To Pyscho Boss: You, sir, are a total fuckhead.

2. ... what one thing would you say to the president of your country?

To Prime Minister John Howard: You, sir, are a total fuckhead.

3. ... what one thing would you change about someone?

Dunno...I guess make them more understanding of my very strange self!

4. ... what one thing would you change about yourself?

My anxiety, it pops up at the worst times of course and not helpful.

5. ... what one thing would you do right now?

Ummm...play Sims 2. Huzzah! :O)

The Friday Five

1. How often do you get sick?

Hmmm...not sure...I tend to get a lot of stomachaches but I'm not sure if they really count as sick. In which case only once or twice (hey, that's normal! :O).

2. Do you take a lot of over the counter medicine?

Well, I usually have to take some once a month.

3. Have you ever been in the hospital for an extended period of time?

Nope, although I don't know how long I was in hospital when I was five months with a twisted stomach.

4. Are there any diseases that run in your family?

Diabetes maybe.
Anxiety- eeeee!
Nothing else really...

5. What is the best remedy for the common cold?

Nothing, the common cold is king, it will always find a way to make you uncomfortable the bastard! As long as you're awake that is, so I suggest sleep!

Hey cool! A new Meme!

The Friday Nine

1. Word assocation--
I say "glue"; you say
stick .
I say "sherpa"; you say Nepal.
I say "honey"; you say "Where's my super suit?!" :OD.

2. Which is worse: dying young without falling in love or dying middle-aged with young children?

The second one, I wouldn't like to leave kiddies behind...then again they would be alive and if I died young they wouldn't, also dying young would suck. But still, leaving your kids...very sad!

3. Fill in the blanks: in high school, I was Weird, but had a good time!

4. On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you enjoy the taste of peanut butter? Minus 1000, the look and smell of it makes me gag, I used to like it when I was really little, but apparently I was told it was good for me and I just stopped eating it. And now, yuk!

5. What program do you use to play music files?

Media Player
it always comes on automatically and winamp has disappeared off my computer, so there you go...

6. Do you prefer using mechanical or "retro" pencils?

Yes! Love the mechanical pencils, lazy as I am remembering to have a pencil sharpner. Besides mechanical pencils don't smudge as much and come out sharper when you write.

7. Name the last dessert you ate.

Mmmm..chocolate and vanilla icecream...good stuff!

8. Do you think it's fair that if a common person had a sex tape released his/her life would basically go down the crapper, but when a celebrity's tape pops up, he/she gains even more fame?

Umm...beats the Hell out of me! I suppose it would depend on what the tape contains...but you're probably right, unless celebrity counts as a Judge or something, then otherwise, nope.

9. Surprise! The Simple Life producers want your family to host Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie for The Simple Life 9. What do you do?

"Get off my property."

Fuck, it's past twelve now (wow I'm glad I started early on those Memes) and that damn techno music is still going! Mother has gone out to tell them to knock it off, but it doesn't seem to be working, I hope she won't end up in a fight or something (I can't see Mum in a fight!)

Ah...wait it's worked! Now I can go to sleep! I thank you all, and to all a goodnight!

(Man I started this entry at 9:30pm! But I did get distracted by Bargain Hunt and The Glasshouse though.)

I took that quizzie out of curiosity. My Now score came out to 103 and my Earlier score was 113. It just said that I have a lot of traits, but it didn't tell me anything that I didn't already know.
