Put On Your Skates....Tomorrow
8:53pm: Yes indeed, I went and got my skates sharpened after work today, but it took so long that I decided to forego actual skating because had I done so I would have been driving home in the dark and as I said I don't like driving in the dark, particularly considering how bush-like the road home is.
Also I was rather sleepy as well, yawn.
However! I do plan to go tomorrow morning before work, which actually had been my plan previously, however I kept on staying up too late! I have to get to the ice rink a little before 10am, which means I have to leave the flat here at 9am and thus get up at about 8:30. But when you stay up until 1:30am that's not the best idea. So yes! I'm updating earlier than usual so I can get to bed on time.
In other news, I also need to buy a new SD card for my phone, I bit the bullet and after swapping things around to get my photos off the one I have so I could format it for internal storage I got a message saying it's a slow one, also according to the specifications I can use up to 32 Gb! Not sure if I can afford it, but 16Gb would be twice as much as I've got now.
Moving on! I'm wearing my new Garfield pjs! I feel fancy :O) or at least like a real fangirl, it's nice to see Garfield is still popular.
And I'm just kind of rambling here, I thought I might have had something else to write about from yesterday...oh wait! I do! I mentioned a while back that I was going on a cruise with my parental units in December on a cruise ship with an ice rink on board! However, it looks as if my sister-in-law and new niece will be arriving in Australia at that time, so obviously Mum and Dad want to be there to hang out with the new grandchild. So instead we're going next February, which will be Dad's birthday, so that's cool.
Although...they wanted me to see if I could get a friend to come along, however, considering the sale ends tonight the notice was a bit too short...Oh well, I guess we'll all have to share a cabin after all. :OP

1. Can you remember the first book you read? I think it was a Miffy book in kindergarten, it might even be Miffy Goes to Hospital.
2. What was the last book (electronic or otherwise) you read? I recently finished reading Jessi-cat a very cute book about how a cat helped a boy with selective mutism and Asperger's Syndrome to be more social and stuff.
3. Do you read for enjoyment, work or both? For enjoyment of course! :OD
4. What is your favorite genre of book to read? Oooo, that's a toughie...I guess...crime? But I'm generally open to many genres.
5. If you could visit your younger self, what book would you tell yourself to steer clear of? Hmm, I can't actually think of one that wasn't required for school, soooo...I got nothin' really.

1) What hurts Sam the most is her sole, since she just found that earring she thought was lost by stepping on it with her bare foot. How about you? Any aches and pains to report? Ouch! And as for me, well my hamstring felt a bit tight this morning at work, but it seems fine now. Knock on wood!
2) What's the last thing you misplaced? Did you find it? My face cream that I'm using to clear up my skin, I did find it...it turned out to be on the bathroom windowsill. LOL fail.
3) Lead singer Gary LeVox sings that he's not afraid to cry. When is the last time you shed a tear? I am afraid to cry because it gives me a headache and leaves my eyes all sore. As for the last time I cried, well, I guess it's been a while?
4) Gary auditioned for another country group, Little Big Town, but didn't get in. Considering how successful Rascal Flatts has been, he's probably not sorry. Tell us about something you thought you wanted, but later weren't so sure. Uh...hmm...oh! I guess buying my friend's Citroen, for despite it's beautiful greeness it probably would have cost me way more to service, to say nothing of what would have happened if it had been the car I scraped up a few months ago! O.o
5) The country group has their roots in Columbus, Ohio. What else is Ohio known for? Well, Garfield creator Jim Davis is from Ohio! So possibly Garfield is too.
6) Lead guitarist Joe Don Rooney married model and former Miss Georgia, Tiffany Fallon. Many major pageants give prizes in the talent, congeniality and swimsuit competitions. Would you prefer to have exceptional skills, a great personality, or a terrific body? Ooo, a toss up between exceptional skills and a great personality...I guess...personality wins in the end. :OP It's hard to learn a new personality, but I could probably get some skillz.
7) 2006, the year this song was popular, was a very good one for tennis pro Roger Federer. He reached the finals in all four Grand Slam tournaments, and won three. What's the last game you won? (Yes, Words with Friends counts.) FED-EX! :OD Whoo! As for the last game I won, it would be a Words With Friends game, but the friend I played with has kicked my butt the last two games. She's a tough competitor!
8) Actor Tony Shalhoub won an Emmy in 2006 for his portrayal of detective Adrian Monk on Monk. Who's your favorite TV detective? I do love Dr Sloan from Diagnosis Murder, Dick Van Dyke rocks!
9) Random question ... You've just won an all-expenses-paid trip but now you have to choose: Carnivale in Brazil, the Bordeaux Wine Festival in France, or the Running of the Bulls in Spain? Gee, I don't like wine, and I don't want to participate in the animal cruelty festival that's the running of the bulls... however, Carnivale doesn't seem like my bag, plus, there's the Zika Virus in Brazil! O.o I guess...I'll go with the Bordeaux wine festival, I'm sure they'll be lots of yummy food there and other stuff to do.

21 - Did you have an accident last year? I did actually when I scraped up Dad's Chery after paying to have a scrap on the back - which wasn't my fault done up. Do'h! I lost $200 on that - I didn't actually have to fix it, but my parents sold it for $200 less then they would have hadn't had scratches.
22 - What are you thinking right now? How I'm gonna answer these questions, and "Ow, my knee"
23 - Have you been hurt so bad that you can’t find words to explain how you feel? I'm sure I have, but I can't think of a particular occasion right now.
