Like A Rhinestone Skater!
11:13pm: Yes indeed! I finally got the rhinestones and now Plushy plush is properly blinged out! :OD Although some what sadly, the new rhinestones I got didn't quite match the old ones so I had to get rid of all those, shame.
Also, just getting to the Super Centre in Belrose was a lot more difficult, apparently that crane from yesterday was still there (unless it was another crane breaking down) unfortunately, I didn't realise this until I got to Mona Vale Road in the left turn lane and it took a good five minutes to turn the corner! And then the traffic was just a long line for who knows how many kms, I certainly wasn't going to hang around and find out and luckily with my Navman I was able to see there was a road that I could do a U-turn in - although the Navman is also meant to track traffic and warn me about this sort of shit, but it only seems to work on very rare occasions. I thanked my lucky stars for that road actually, because I hadn't really noticed it before and I thought that there might be no way to escape the traffic!
So yes, after all that, I took the long way to the Super Centre, and made my purchases - the fabric Mum needs for SRE, an adorable round cushion that looks like a slice of watermelon (I'll take a photo of that later) and the sequins along with glue that said it would paste anything to fabric. I think maybe the super glue affected the fabric on the bottom of Plushy plush's feet because it didn't work...so once again I had to get super glue all over my fingers. That skate better stay on!
What else to report? Well, I used my canned air on my laptop keyboard today, because they were looking pretty bad, but I'm not sure that was the right thing to do because now they're kinda sticky and the spacebar doesn't work sometimes. Very annoying. I used to have a little brush to clean it up more but it disappeared some time ago, and I have no idea where I could get a similar one. But I can tell you this, I'm certainly not taking the keys off...I don't think I actually can anyway, but the last time I did somethin like that I broke the keyboard and had to buy a new one and pay a computer repairer to install it!
Further technological problems plague me in the form of my phone...it keeps telling me I'm out of storage space, although it's just now occurred to me, that maybe it needs a good ol' switch off and on because I've cleared a lot of stuff out... It might also be because I've downloaded an audiobook and that takes up a lot of room I'm sure...
Yawn! Well I'm rather sleepy because I also went to the gym (and pool) as well as to the Dee Why Library for volunteering today. So, a busy day for me! Today truly was the last day of my gym membership in Brookvale, actually it ended on Wednesday, but the nice lady there let me in this last time.
Let's hope the new gym and new pool I use will be just as nice.
And now, I'm off!
