Don't Say It! Play It!
11:15pm: Alas, I did not end up Simming (I should stop saying I'll do it when I update because it never seems to happen when I do) this was mostly due to the fact that I've been neglecting my Friends Pages for days and I had sooooo much damn shit. I finally managed to catch up, phew!
I also totaly neglected to call up my friend
bookscorpion to see if we could do some stuff tomorrow, because I haven't seen her for aaaages! She probabaly doesn't think I like her anymore! (OK, she probably doesn't really, but you know.) It's way to late to do so now, so that will have to wait for tomorrow, I have to go to church though, so I'm not sure if anything will go down there...Maybe Sunday? That's Father's Day, but Mum is up the coast so I'm not sure if they'll be a lot of stuff happening on Sunday in that case. On Monday, it's Mum's birthday and we're having dinner at Ezzelino's down the road from the parentals. Yum, I haven't had pizza in months!
In other news, tomorrow it's predicted that it's gonna be 27 degrees C or 80.6 F, and it's just become Spring! What the Hey? The temperature of the sea has also been pretty warm all winter, usually it gets rather cold in there, but this winter it hasn't got below 19 degrees. I tell you Global Warming is coming to get us, and how! Which is really pretty disturbing when you get right down to it.
Anyway, I just took this quizz, with a highly inaccurate result:
Dark? Mysterious? Moody? Me? Nope, I don't think so, in fact a lot of people have mentiond that I always seem to be happy (well no "seems" really, 'cause I generally am happy). But I do enjoy been called unique...although can you be very unique? Are there degrees of it, the wordophile in me wants to know. ;O)
FOUR FOR FRIDAY
Q1 - Food Eating Contests: Joey Chestnut, the top-ranked U.S. competitive eater, is looking to capture his second straight title this weekend at the Waffle House Waffle-Eating World Championships at Stone Mountain Park, Georgia. (Last year, Chestnut won the title by devouring 18.5 eight-ounce Waffle House waffles in 10 minutes.) If you were to quit your day job and take up competitive eating as a professional gustatory athlete, what food items would you specialize in, or, which food eating contest would you be the hands-down favorite to win the world championship?
Well, it's come to my attention that I actually have a rather small appetite, compared to most people I see, which probably explains why I haven't got fat even though I don't eat the healthiest food. Anyway, the thing is I can't really see I could possibly win or even attempt eating as a professional sport (LOL...sport) I'm too afraid of throwing up to risk such a thing. I can however eat a DAMN lot of Kraft Cheese Wedges, so maybe I could try that.
Q2 - Laundry: When you do laundry, do you use the recommended amount of detergent or do you pour to your heart's content?
Err, I don't think I use enough, I mean a scoop full seems a Hell of a lot because I'm only washing clothes for me, so I usually use half a scoop, or even a fourth. As for the Fabric Softner, I don't actually pay much attention to that, I poor 'til it spills over.
Q3 - Handwriting: Do you like your signature?
No, it's a piece of shit, first of all my handwriting sucks, second of all I don't have any ys,gs ps or js so I can't do anything elaborate. I've tried crossing over my last name, but it's still lameass.
Q4 - Today: What are four things you know you will not be doing today?
1. Getting a job :O(
2. Play more Sims 2 (Actually played it a bit this morning.)
3. Eat corn (I reeeally need to up my vegetable intake.)
4. Go down to the Box Thing.
Friday Fun
Friday Fall
1. What is your favorite thing about the fall season?
We don't have fall, it's called Autumn, which is a rather pretty word, I think. Anyway, umm...I don't particularly like autumn because it means winter and colder temperatures are coming and Daylight Savings is going to end. Although I do like to wear my coat :O)
2. Do you have a favorite fall sport?
Nope. I like the Summer or Winter Sport...what's an Autumn sport anyway? I can think of a sport that's confined just to the autumn.
3. Are you mired in that back to school thing?
No, I've got no school and no full time job, which is getting really bad seriously! I'm totally going to enroll in a Library course on Monday, seeing as how Willoughby Library hasn't got back to me, bastards.
4. Are you ready for fall?
When I first glimpsed this I thought you meant and actual fall, or pride before the fall or something...Anywho, it shan't be autumn here 'til next year, having said that though, I'm never ready for autumn. Actually autumn can be a total pain in the ass as far as clothes are concerned, in the mornings it's cold, so you put on jeans, but the middle of the day though, it's hot and you've got to change.
Friday's Feast
Appetizer
What are some lyrics you have misheard (such as, instead of "Gettin' Jiggy With It" you heard "Kick a chicken with it")?
LOL! Actually whenever I hear that song "Take me to the sands of sunny Cuba" no matter how carefully I listen I still hear "Take me to the edge of sunny Newport" or "sunny New York", neither of which makes sense, so when I finally heard a live recording I was like. "Oh, CUBA!" I also misheard that bit about "missing the rains down in Africa", I heard "Guess it rains down in Africa."
Soup
What is the worst movie you have ever seen?
The Matrix. God damn stupid piece of shit. It was boring, it was annoying and the sound was SO loud in the theatre then during that big gun scene I though my head was going to explode. I had the worst headache afterwards! $9.50 poorly spent says I!
Salad
Using the letters from your favorite number, write a sentence. Example: Tomorrow has really easy experiences.
Every
Idea

Here
Teehee
Yeah, that's a cheat.
Main Course
What was the most interesting news story you have heard this week?
The vaccine to stop cervical cancer's pretty cool, scientists really seem to making inroads into fighting cancer now.
Dessert
Which word(s) would you choose to describe your wardrobe?
On the floor (rally I gotta pick up my clothes), sparse and very casual.
Friday5
1. What kind of marks (grades) did you get in school?
Hey! A meme writer who says marks, cool. Anywho, I got great marks in school, usually above 70 (which is good here, although I hear in America that's considered average?) Except for Maths and Art (sadly).
2. Do you have any birthmarks?
Nope.
3. What’s the story behind one of your scars?
The scar on the lower right area of my abodomen is not actually from an appendectomy, when I was a baby I was diagnosed with a twisted stomach, I had to have an operation to fix it and while the Docs were in there they took my appendix! I wonder if they asked my parents or just took it out, 'cause the latter sounds kinda illegal to me.
4. What do you usually use to mark your place in a book?
A reciept, old bus ticket, or a bookmark when I can find one. (I just found an old Garfield one, yay!)
5. What famous Mark do you most admire?
Ummm...dunno...don't know many Mark's really...
The Other Friday Five
1) This is the 1st of September, what do you want to accomplish by the 31st?
There IS no 31st of September! (Reminds me of how George III- when Prince of Wales was so upset he forgot there was no 31st of June and dated a letter as such) Anyway, I really, really need a job at the end of this month!
2) What does September make you think about or feel?
Birthdays! It's my mother's birthday on the 4th, my big bro's on the 15th and two of my friends Edith and Elva have birthday's in this month too. I think Elva's was today...
3) September is the ninth month; can you name nine memories so far from this year?
Ummm....
1. New Years Eve, I went to Darling Habour to see the fireworks, good stuff!
2. Left my Uni Job, it was only a casual one, but I liked it.
3. My little bro's 21st Birthday Party, some crazy shit went down that night and it wasn't caused by the little bro.
4. Busted my knee up climbing on that boat at the Fitzhenry's and I didn't take that job.
5. Got the Outsource job and got screwed over...thanks for nothing jerks.
6. Got my Uni Degree in the mail (I couldn't do the getting up in front of everyone thing)
7. Had to apply for Work for the Dole.
8. Big bro went to Japan and Dad and I saw him off at the airport.
9. Play George McFly in an RPG (Ok, that's lame!)
4) What does September have in common with three other months and can you name them?
30 days has September, April, June and November...which the writer of this quiz doesn't seem to realise. ;O)
5) The first weekend in September signals the end of summer for many even though it doesn’t really end for weeks. When does summer end for you?
In the middle of March, technically it's the last day of Febuary, but it remains pretty damn hot for weeks after that...sometimes into April, especially now that Global Warming is screwing us over. Dear me!
Oh well beans, it's after midnight now...Oh well...It's also getting pretty hot in here, the benefit of the apartment in the winter is it doesn't get cold in here, but probably in the summer is it gets obscenely hot, we're talking you couldn't leave a kid or an animal in here without breaking a law unless you have the aircon on. But I don't want to put it on yet because you know, I have to pay the electricity bill by my lonesome now, and I'm poor!
Anywho, I'm off now...to have some icecream, yum!
Night!
I also totaly neglected to call up my friend
