What A Cute Movie!

10:38pm: The Secret Life of Pets that is! They were showing it on the cruise actually, but I kept missing the start or the end and on the day it was shown on the big screen on board it was Dad's birthday and thus I didn't get chance to watch it then.

And when I got back home all the copies at the Warringah Library were out so I figured I wouldn't get it for a while, but a copy came to Mona Vale Library so yay!

But yes, I wanted to see it mostly for the sausage dog, LOL I love those little dogs, they're so funny looking.

Although there sure turned out to be a lot of property damage in this film!

Yes, sniff...Tuesday dawned and by the time my alarm went off to wake the little bro and I up it was already 8am and the ship had docked and people were all ready getting lining up to get off.

However! There was one last thing a person could do on the ship and that was have a'la carte breakfast in the dining room. The little bro decided he'd get off as soon as our bag number was called so that he could take the ferry over to Manly, get the bus back to his house, get his car and then come back to collect Mum, Dad and me from the ferry terminal. As for Dad, he decided not to come to breakfast, probably so he could finish the packing or maybe get a quick nap because he and Mum ended up waking up in time to see the ship re-enter Sydney Heads! Apparently Mum did consider calling our cabin, but decided not to, but she said she did get photos, which reminds me...I haven't asked to see them yet!

Oh and here's the last day carpet sniff. Actually the first elevator I tried to catch still had the 'Monday' carpet block in it and I was seriously bummed that it didn't look like they updated it on the last day. As it happened though, the elevator doors wouldn't open, so I couldn't get in there and I guess neither could the staff because as you can see the elevator I did get into had it.

So, anyway, Mum, Mrs Lampe and I went to the dining room for breakfast and sat at a table where you could see out the windows, which was pretty neat, since our regular table had always been in the middle of the room (although that did afford the best view of the Captain's table and the grand staircase), and I couldn't help but notice - while I was sitting there this misspelled cover for one of the life bouys on the dock. Seriously, WTF? How did that happen? I wonder if I should call the Port Authority about that.

Breakfast turned out quite yummy I thought, although Mum and I's eggs didn't have runny yokes, shame, but what can you do?

After breakfast the line to get off the ship was quite long, so back up to Mum and Dad's cabin Mum and I went where the fuel ship was alongside filling up the Voyager for her next journey. It took as a bit of time to figure out for sure that that's what it was doing - I though maybe it was a sewage ship or something - because it had "Bunker" written on it. Turns out that also means a fuel ship - thanks Google!

Oh and for fans of the towel Monkey - Dad took this farewell photo of me with the one in the parental cabin (ours sadly had disappeared the night before).

And for a bit of symmentery Dad also took a photo of me in front of the Opera House, but now I my new shirt!

After that I tried to finish the book I had borrowed from the library since technically I should have returned it the night before! But alas, in the end time ran out, so back to the library it went without me having read the appendixes!

But I also didn't want to return the book because...that meant the cruise was over! After everything that had happened I really didn't want to go! Which is probably why I was sniffling and crying a bit when I took the disembarkation shot and I was most jealous of the people who's luggage was getting put on! Sniff, hope they had as much fun as I did.

I also took a photo of the ship's name as Mum, Dad and I passed by.

Alas, I couldn't stick around because Mum realised during the cruise that she managed to leave one of her dresses behind at the hotel she and Dad stayed at on the Saturday night before the cruise. Fortunately, once I got the internet package she was able to email them and they found it there and it was waiting at the conceriege desk to be picked up by someone, and that someone was me. :OP Pft.

Thankfully the hotel wasn't too far away and I got back in time to watch the ferry come in and take this final shot, which GooglePics made all classy for me. The perfect ending shot to an amazing holiday!

So that's it! Suffice to say when they emailed me the link for the survey I gave them a glowing review! And perhaps someday when I have enough hours of work a week I can save up for another cruise! And this time I'll keep a journal of events as they unfold.

But! For now, I must be off, I've got a shift at the library tomorrow so I can't stay up super late! Plus I need to finish my cleaning I've made quite a dent in it but more needs to be done. So wish me luck with that!

For now...goodnight!
