It's In The Cards...
11:36pm: Making cards that is...what isn't in the cards is memes, sorry about that!
But it's been a busy day, what with work at Mrs S, then a drive to the Super Centre in Belrose and then work at Mona Vale Library!
I managed to do it all though, phew! Despite the fact I had to make a detour via Mrs S's house on my way to the library because I thought I'd left my mobile phone there. As it happened...I hadn't left it there, at least not in her house, no...it had fallen out in the bin room. Into the bin itself! I know...ewww...and also embarrassing. How do these things happen? Good thing I checked though! Otherwise I'd be down one phone! O.o
In other news, there's an ad on right now for a perfume...called Black Opium, is it just me, or is naming perfumes after illicit drugs in rather poor taste? I mean do we really want teenagers asking for that? Or associating it with a nice smell? Or is it just because opium isn't a word that's used much these days? I still think it's weird.
So yes, I got the three cards that need to go overseas done only to discover that I don't have their addresses after all! Shit. I've sent a private Plurk, but I'm not sure what will happen if they don't reply tomorrow because I'm quite sure they won't arrive on time anyway...but they certainly won't if I have to wait another day! Gulp!
And...look at the time, it's too late and I better be off, sorry for the short entry syndrome!
