That Was A Bit Scary!
11:07pm: This morning I was late to Tafe because there was a huge accident on the main road to the Mall, a truck sped down a hill and overturned as the driver tried to take a corner, sliding into the traffic on the other side of the road. In all 9 cars were involved along with the truck and miracle of miracles no-one was killed. In fact most of the injuries were minor, but you wouldn't have thought it going past the accident scene, which I did on the bus. They had to close down one side of the road and there were all these police and firefighters at the scene. And this was some three hours after the crash happened.
Anyway, today was a bit stressful because it was the last one with our teachers before the Clinical Placement and there was a big rush to make sure they had noted down where we were going and when. There was also a test on the Urinary System and a PowerPoint presentation on Aged Care and Sexuality, then did a bit of a practice at feeding people - since that's something will need to do quite a bit of and finally after lunch a video on caring for people with dementia which turned out quite strangely because we'd seen some of it all ready, but with a different introduction and stuff.
Then to make things rather annoying the bus my friend and I catch was like half an hour late! How rude! I almost could have waited for the bus that goes direct to my flat.
Saturday Six
1. You see that someone you’re talking to has a piece of spinach in her teeth. Would you say something or pretend you don’t notice? Nah, I'd say something because it sucks when you're walking around with something in your teeth or on your face and no-one tells you!
2. You overhear a mom creating a scene in a grocery store and using profanity while yelling at her child. Would you say something to the mom or would you feel it was none of your business? Well...I'd probably be too scared to intervene but I'd certainly get the attention of the management or a security guard.
3. You overhear a child creating a scene in a grocery store and using profanity while yelling at his mom. Would you say something to the mom or would you feel it was none of your business? Well, that's horrible! I guess though it would depend on the age of the child, if it's a toddler or something they're not likely to actually cause injury. If they were older though I'd probably alert management or security.
4. You see a child shoplift a toy and notice the parent doesn’t see it. Would you say something to the parent, the child, store management, or no one? Oh wow, that's a hard one. I mean confronting the kid or the parent is rife with peril, because the kid will probably deny it and the parent will probably be defensive. I'd let management know, hopefully they'll be able to deal with the situation properly.
5. You see an apparently homeless man shoplift something at a store. Would you say something to the man, the store manager, or no one? That's a toughie too! You say "apparently" homeless...I'd be inclined to not say anything especially if he was shoplifting food or something, or perhaps I'd offer to pay for him because I wouldn't want him to be in trouble.
6. You see a homeless man outside a restaurant begging for food and you happen to have an extra $10 in your pocket. Would you buy him lunch, hand him the cash, or do nothing? Buying lunch for him sounds like a good idea actually! I've never considered doing that. I might give him the ten bucks if I'm in a hurry though, otherwise I'd ask him what he'd like.

1. Ok let’s talk travel, do you like to travel? Hmmm, not so much these days...because I don't have any money plus I'm kind of nervous about travelling on planes or trains by myself.
2. Where have you been? However! The family and I have travelled to heaps of places! In particular all over England, Scotland and Wales. Good times, good times.
3. Next place you want to go? I still dream of going to New York some day.
4. What is something you MUST take with you when you travel? My medications!
5. How do you like to travel? (mode of transportation) Well as I said in 1 I'm not a big fan of modes of transport, I guess...planes.
6. With someone, or alone? Definitely with someone! I did travel to Forbes on the train and bus by myself, but yeah...
7. Do you dance in your car when there are other people with you? Nah, not really, I do when I'm in the car by myself, as much as one can dance in a car.
8. If you're quiet what does it mean? Probably that I'm asleep, LOL!
9.Favorite scent? Books! Mmm yeah.
10. Favorite store? Hmm, I quite like JB Hi Fi
11. Say you wanted coffee.. what kind is your favorite? Don't like coffee, so I wouldn't.
12. Favorite kind of pizza? Hawaiian! Yummy!
13. Do you get embarrassed easily? To be honest...I'm not sure. Maybe not?
14. Do you mind people asking you personal questions? Depends who they are and how personal the questions are!
15. You have a tank of gas, $50, and the day off… what do you do? Ha ha probably nothing different than I would with any day off. Maybe go shopping for a bit with the $50 though...
16. Favorite tv show? Oh there's so many, but I'll say my favourite of all is The Simpsons
17. Song you turn the volume up all the way to listen to? None, because I don't like loud music, hurts my ears.
18. Something you keep in your car? Don't have a car.
19. Highlight of your day? Today? Umm...dinner, I had nuggets and chips, good eatin'!
20. Something you do everyday that you wish you didn’t have to do? Hmm...can't think of anything I do every day that's especially irritatin to me.
21. Do you mind if people just show up at your house unannounced? Yes, because in general I keep my house quite messy...
22. What do you do when you disagree with someone? I must admit, I probably argue with them in a non-productive fashion.
23. Do you enjoy rain? As a glasses wearer not really, makes it hard to see when rain gets on them. Also I hate getting wet pant cuffs.
24. Who’s your favorite person in the whole world… besides me? And who might you be? :OP To answer your question...my parents, I can't pick one of the other so, two for one!
Man, I'm tired, and it's late, I need to wrap this up! Especially since I've decided to do the Certificate III in Disability so I have class tomorrow. Wish me luck with it - there's sure to be more assignments to do, eewww.
