Oh Man, Not Again...
11:34pm: The bloody internet is being an asshole again, damn pain in the ass. N from the main house was going to call up Telstra to bitch about this turn of events, but it's still slow! Grrrr!
I suppose it wasn't that irritating to me today because I've been busy doing laundry, cleaning my flat, going to church and then it was out to the city for one of my friend's birthday drinks.
The weather has definitely turned, so long pants and a coat was called for, and I decided to go green! Maybe a little too green. I hope I don't look too silly...I guess it's only been a few days since St Patrick's Day so it's topical! :OP Still I can almost hear Mum from Perth telling me off for wearing so much of the same colour, LOL.
Anyway, since I went to church first I got there like two hours after the get-together started. I met up with my friend Ben and we headed to the pub together where the big group (my friend, Caroline obviously knows more people than I do! :O) was playing Cards Against Humanity. Ben and I have never played so we were looking forward to having a go, but alas the person who owned the deck left soon after so there was no chance. Apparently you can print the game out yourself for free - well less printing costs if you want to get it done on card stock of course - or it should be available at the Games Shop at the Mall. So investigation should be undertaken, I think.
So no card game, but there did get to be a lot of talking. :O) I didn't actually talk to many new people, so I kind of failed on that count, Ben did much better though. :OD
And I've just noticed the time, I better wrap this up!
I will say one thing, I took the L90 to Dee Why which necessitated quite a wait for the 178 during which time a whole lot of youths congregating on the otherside of the street and made quite a lot of noise. It ended up bad enough that the bus driver on the 178 once it came opened his door to speak to some cops in front of the police station we drove past to alert them to this. I wonder what went down...
Oh well, it'll probably be a mystery to me!
