anonymoose_au10:16pm: Well! It turns out my main RP partner has lost Net access! No wonder things have been so quiet. It's gonna be until the end of August until she's back on. This makes Captain John sad face :O( I suppose he can get up to lots more World Trip Shennigans, which will be fun.
I also had inspiration for a Flash fic! So here you go:
078. Where?
“Fucking mess,” Agent 666 shook his head.
That pretty much summed up the situation, the remains of the fabled Time Agency smouldering away the outpost of Durvon in an uproar.
Agent 125 could only stare, she’d only been in the Agency a short time, but it had seemed indestructible, above everything, beyond time.
“Wh-what happened?” She finally found her voice.
Agent 666 shrugged. “Got fucked over, I guess, only a matter of time I s’pose, like I said, Agency wasn’t some benevolent society. Seems we ticked off the wrong people.”
She stared at him, the man’s coolness under fire still surprised her, did nothing faze him? They’d almost being killed just moments ago! “What do we do?”
“Not hang around here for one thing, if the Overseers aren’t waiting to take us out, whoever’s come after them won’t like us much either.”
“Right…OK…” Agent 125 looks down at her wrist strap, opening the cover and staring at the display. “Where to?”
Agent 666 grins. “I’m touched you want to invite me along, but…not a good idea. We’re wanted felons now,” he actually looks rather chipper at that fact. “Best none of us stick together, no point making it easier for them to track us down.”
“But…we’re partners.”
Agent 666 puts his arm around her shoulders. “You’re sweet, love, really…that partners stuff? Doesn’t really mean anything in the long run. Just another one of those Agency things. Besides you’ve still got parents out there, a family, so…better get moving.”
“Where?” She can only ask again.
“All over, they’ll be trying to track us, you know, best not use the wrist strap too much, conventional means of travel’s your best bet.” He gives her a squeeze.
“What about you then?” Agent 125 presses the point.
“Better neither of us knows what the other is doing, I’ll probably get caught one of these days and I wouldn’t want to give up your location.”
She frowns. “That doesn’t bother you? After everything?”
Agent 666 looks serious. “Of course it does, but there’s not much we can do about it, standing around here is going to get us killed. And after all the trouble I went to keeping us alive that’d be fucking annoying.”
Agent 125 can’t resist a laugh, but then she sighs. “So, I go off with my family and you’ll…?”
“I got some other projects I’ve been meaning to work on,” Agent 666 shrugs, before planting a big kiss on both cheeks. “Great knowing you, Clo, be careful, now.”
“But…well…I…”
“Hey don’t worry, maybe we’ll run into each other again some day, don’t know when, don’t know where, but that’s the fun of it isn’t it?”
“You have a weird definition of fun, Marek, you know that?” She shakes her head with a laugh.
He gives her a wink and with that a few inputs into his wrist strap, disappears in a swirl of black and blue.

Of course we all know what Marek's up to next :O) I'm thinking I've writing a more indepth story about the whole 'finding Gray' thing, which seems very interesting to me, rather then all these brief flashes - although the brief flashes will pop up.
Although I'm not sure if I'm going to incorporate any Season 3 stuff yet because...well I can't figure out how I feel about it! To paraphrase Bart Simpson - "I didn't think it was physically possible, but that both sucked and rocked."
Need more time to digest it, I guess.
In other news, woe on my diet this weekend! I've eaten a lot of chocolate and cheese, which really is a bad iead, What the Hell was I thinking. Although there doesn't seem to be fruit in this place.
Which has just reminded me...I think I left the fruit I bought in a plastic bag...shiiit.
Have to sort that out tomorrow, in the meantime though-

2. How seriously are have you worked in the past month to change your life for the better, rather than living with the status quo?
Ummm...I've worked a bit at it, what with work issues and all, I think I'm doing OK with it, fingers crossed! Plus keeping my apartment in a reasonable clean state, go me!
3. How much has your life felt like it is “brimming with opportunities” in the past month, and have you seriously considered taking any of them?
Umm...not much, things are very quiet at present, what with the lack of other job opportunities and whatnot. However, my single subject (going towards my library degree) is coming up soon! Note to self: Must pay for that.
4. How important is becoming wealthy and successful, and has its level of importance changed at all in the past year?
Now see, that's apparently my problem, I don't WANT a lot of money, I don't want a job where I have to work super hard, because my passion is not work. The liklihood that that I'd ever get paid for what I really want to do is slim as shit. So...I want a job I like, but not as the be-all and end-all. The Boss though thinks I should be more serious. He does have a point in so far as making sure I do the tasks I've got well!
5. If your life could be placed on a scale that would balance between “work hard” and “play hard,” which side would be heaviest?
LOL, neither, I play more, but it certainly isn't hard! Unless you count RPing and going to libraries and bookshops as hard.
6. How much do you feel right now that you’re at some kind of crossroads?
A little bit, probably would have been more if there were job opportunities out there, but alas no.

Church wine, which is not a very good drink. I don't like the taste of alcohol, so that's pretty much been my first and last alcoholic drink.
4. What was your FIRST job?
First first one was helping Dad clean up his science labs at school before the school year started (brothers and I got 50 bucks for that!). But in terms of a more permanent kind of one, pamphlet delivering, which was a total rort, the pay sucked.
5. What was your FIRST car?
The family's white Nissan Skyline, which progressive got in worse and worse condition, especially after it was stolen.
6. Where did you go on your FIRST ride on an airplane?
New Zealand! I almost got stuck in the toilets!
7. Who was your FIRST best friend & do you still talk?
Natalie and alas no, I moved away from Dubbo and we kept in contact for a number of years after it, but it didn't last. I met her again only a few years ago, but we had changed too much to get along.
8. Whose wedding did you attend the FIRST time?
Pretty sure that was Uncle Sam's, my big brother was the Page Boy.
9. Tell us about your FIRST roommate.
Never had one excatly, though I had to share the studio apartment with my big bro for a while (and later on with my little bro), it was a pain in the arse, he stayed up all night and would never let me put the air conditioner on!
10. If you had one wish, what would it be (other than more wishes)?
End of world hunger! It's terrible how many children and people die of starvation. :O(
11. What is something you would learn if you had the chance?
Japanese! I tried too, but I sucked at it.
12. Did you marry the FIRST person you were in love with?
N/A.
13. What were the first lessons you ever took and why?
Ummm, well that'd probably be preschool, but if you mean extra-curicular I also took ballet lessons, or should I say a ballet lesson. I didn't pay attention and couldn't do any of the things I was told to, so the teacher said not to bring me back.
14. What is the first thing you do when you get home?
Hang my Ferrari hat! :OD And turn on the lights.
