Let The Dubbing Begin!
Feb. 5th, 2016 11:43 pm11:24pm: Today the analogue-to-digital USB arrived! :OD I got an SMS from AusPost so after my busy day - work at Mrs S's, picking up Mrs S's wheelchair, going to the gym and going to get my change of address put on my licence as well as do some shopping - still no luck with the toilet brush - I went to the Post Office up the road to collect it.
It works great! I'm using it to dub stuff right now on my old laptop although I'm not completely sure what's on each tape...because it's not always what I've written on the label.
So at the moment I'm not actually dubbing anything, so instead I'm tying up this entry and then I need to do my Russian study before bed.
Although, I'm kind of distracted by this crazy-ass movie about airline hijackers from 1992, how they'd even get those guns onboard? I mean, I know it was 1992, but seriously that's some bullshit security right there, they should be ashamed of themselves. (This was probably explained earlier on, but whatevs).
Not much else to report, although my packing up doesn't seem to be resulting in a cleaner place at all! And I don't actually have time to do anything more about that, I need to get to bed tomorrow is the first day of my part-time work at Mona Vale so I want to look good. :OP
But I'll have to wear trousers tomorrow, because the bruise continues to look seriously nasty. I even got a photo. Not a pretty sight to be sure.
So yes, apologies for the short entry syndrome, so off I go.
