Eek! C'mon Cadel!
Jul. 13th, 2012 11:32 pm11:05pm: The previous Tour De France winner and an Australian to boot! He's up against Bradley Wiggins from Britain for the yellow jersey this year and the heat is on (figuratively and literally!) if Cadel's going to defend his title. Fingers and toes crossed!
And now I've dilly dallied on this entry so I'll have to make it quick with the Memes:
Friday's Question
Have you ever been stung by a bee?
I have indeed, although in a very long time, I remember the last time vividly, not only because it left a mark on my palm for some years but because when I got it I was at Brownie Guide Camp collecting firewood and when the bee stung me I screamed: "Oh SHIT" which was really embarrassing...
Friday Fill-Ins
And...here we go!
1. For the first time in a long time I have some job security whoo!
2. My birthday get together is one of my best memories of the summer so far. (Which was back at the start of the year, Southern Hemisphere, yo!)
3. My recipe for lasagne is one of my favorites because cheeeeese! And pasta! And spaghetti sauce, yum!
4. I hope I'll be RPing for years to come.
5. It starts with a bang...although I kind of hope not because bangs are scary.
6. None is a fragrance I enjoy most in a candle. (Makes my nose itch!)
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to watching Le Tour, tomorrow my plans include workin' for the man and church and Sunday, I want to go to the popup ice rink at Bondi Beach!

1. Among people you know, who has the most diverse range of talents or abilities? Ooo, hmmm...I'd say...my friend Zep, she has many talents indeed, particular arty ones.
2. Besides its intended use, what are three things you’ve used a paperclip for? Trying to open a lock (didn't work) and that's pretty much all I got.
3. What item in your pantry is the most versatile? Flour! Cakes, cheese sauce, covering fish.
4. What implement related to your work seems to be the most useful in different ways? Um...hmmm...I dunno...I've got lots of handy things but I wouldn't say in different ways.
5. What’s an item in your home that seems to have one (and only one!) use? Toilet brush, because God knows you're not going to use that anywhere else.
Man...I hope Cadel can make up some time today, they're both in the pelaton, so fingers and toes crossed!
And since I have to start work a half hour earlier tomorrow (for the following three months until one of the staff come back) I better get myself to bed.
