11:26pm I feel I should update since I don't yesterday, but I'm not sure if I have anything to say.

Oh wait, I do, namely I got through a bit of writer's block with my story, whoo go me.

I also helped Mrs S with setting up her security camera, it took a call to Telstra to get it going, but it all came good in the end.

Also, I dare to hope that my lower abdomen issues may have cleared up, I felt pretty ick this morning,I almost didn't want to show up for the Scripture class, but I did and I even went to the gym after. Yaay go me.

Aside from that not much else and I'm watching something on my laptop so I'm actually updating this on my phone so yeah.

Better be off now, goodnight everyone!
anonymoose_au: (Oww...Aaah...Owwww)
11:17pm: Seriously, WTF? So rude! I can only think that I must have woken up at a bad point in my sleep cycle. Grumble, grumble.

Also, while my headache was gone by this morning (did I update yesterday? Apparently not, well suffice to say I had a terrible headache in the evening, paracetamol didn't do shit for it, bah, good thing I found some ibpruofen!) my guts decided to be unco-operative so I felt pretty eww for a lot of the day.

However! I didn't let it get me down and I won Canasta against M tonight! Whoo-hoo! Although it was an afternoon/evening game and M's never at her best at that time. We might play another hand tomorrow, we'll have to see.

Also, another great benefit in visiting M and Grandpa is getting a delicious lunch/dinner - it was lamb cutlets this time around, super delicious! With cauliflower and mashed potatoes. Belissimo!

Oh and there was ice cream with banana, rockmelon and chocolate sauce for dessert. Good times!

Right, so I was hoping this entry would make more sense, but like I said I'm inexplicibly tired as Hell so I'm gonna wrap this up here and hit the hay.

Goodnight all!

11:15pm: I am not very pleased, my stomach has been most irritable today, I don't know why, maybe I didn't eat a proper breakfast because I was a lazy ass, that being the case, I suck.

So, I didn't end up going to the library today :O( or to the gym. Dang. I've arranged to go to the library tomorrow though so hopefully I'll feel better. Plus I've got work tomorrow!

Anyway, not much to report...I did head out with the intention of going to the library, but I turned around and went to Bunnings to look for a heater, but would you believe they were all out! Boo. Then I went to Vinnies to look for pinstripe pants (I tried another second hand shop, but no luck) but no luck there. Then I went to the two dollar shot to buy an art pad to try out with my Bamboo Spark - yeah I went and bought it again, LOL, it was at another Aldi though so it wasn't the same one. The art pad doesn't fit quite right though and I think the paper is too thick for the pen. Anyway, I figure that I'll draw something in pencil first so I can correct mistakes and then when finished, turn the Spark on and trace over it in pen thus making the outline appear on the app.

But yeah, it didn't quite work, there was some lines that didn't show up, but I'm not sure if that was the thickness of the paper or because I had didn't realise you can't upload a drawing in parts (or maybe you can but I did it wrong) so when I tried to see my progress I ended up splitting the drawing. Yeah, it's a bit complicated.

Anyway, I'm hoping to get the hang of it soon!

Now I must be off, I've got work tomorrow! I bid you all good night!

11:33pm: What went down today...my abdominal area has been painful for some days now and unfortunately it all decided to come to a head today while I was driving to work in the form of a full-on panic attack.

Suffice to say, it totally sucked, I ended up scratching myself up, pretty badly too, I don't know why I do that...but it's a terrible idea. :O( I need to put some antiseptic on it because it's looking pretty ugly.

I also ended up pulling over at a Nursing Home and going in there to ask if I could sit down for a while. Because I couldn't get into contact with Mum and was freaking out. Why a nursing home? Well, it was the only thing there aside from private residences and there's nurses in there? Fortunately, Mum rang me back (turns out she'd been a a training day but there was a ten minute break) so she managed to talk me through it and I got to work (I thought I was going to have call in sick at the last minute!).

Eventually my abdominal pain settled down, it's still a bit uncomfortable now but I don't know if that's from anxiety or what? Probably anxiety...I took Buscopan earlier on today and it didn't really seem to work so...

Also, my left eyelid keeps twitching, it's been doing that all week...which might be sleep related or stress related.

On the upside...tomorrow is my appointment with my pyschiatrist so I can bring up all this stuff. I hope he'll have good advice for me!

And now, I'm off.

Goodnight all!

11:57pm: Yes indeedy! And we're watching International House Hunters together! And she also bought me a present of sorts. She managed to forget to back her toothbrush and what not so needed to buy another one and she saw a Garfield one in green!

So, she bought it and gave it to me, sweeet! Although I probably won't end up using it as I'm set for toothbrushes.

I also spent this evening watching the mens and womens free programs at the Cup of China - which was full of thrills and spills, but I'm pleased to say there was no bad mouthing of Plushy (there was only one British Eurosport guy commentating today though so I guess it would have been weird to bitch to himself, also the other skater did OK in his program so there wasn't really any point in bitching) but more excitingly my favourite ladies skater and one of my favourite men got bronze medals! Hooray!

Although seeing as I'm here at the parental house I'm not sure I should have watched the live stream, I sure hope I didn't eat up all their bandwidth!

Also I'm very happy to report I found my lunchbox! It turned out there was a cupboard in the library kitchen I hadn't noticed before, there were lots of empty containers in it and one of them was my lunchbox! Oh thank goodness, I was feeling quite bummed about that.

Anyway, I better wrap this up and hit the hay, I didn't get nearly enough sleep last night and also had the unpleasant experience of being woken up by heartburn and reflux, yuk. But hopefully things will go better tonight!

11:34pm: I have lower abdominal pain, which really sucks and means this entry isn't going to be as exciting as I promised! Although when is it ever?

However! I can report that I won one of the half-finished games of Canasta and M won the other half-finished one! Also worth noting that I only juuuust scrapped by my win, where as M totally kicked my ass with her's.

What else to report? Scratches head...oh the opening of the DVD case yesterday, well basically with Daylight Savings setting in and the beautiful weather the library was pretty much dead yesterday. So in a moment of boredom one of my co-workers offered to help me get the case open. This involved a lot of brute force and a pair of scissors, looking back on it many OHS rules were overlooked there. :OP But! In the end the DVD was opened yay! Although there was a bit of damage to the cover insert, a tiny tear, but eh I'll get over it.

Anyway, I shall have to wrap this up...and lament on my boring entry. Man, I gotta get some more hobbies or something...Any suggestions?

And now I bid you all goodnight!

11:31pm: Yes, today's shift with Mrs S lasted much longer than usual due to unforeseen circumstances after I'd all ready stayed an extra hour.

I originally planned to go to the gym and then to Dee Why Library for volunteering, but on top of the extra long shift I also felt rather dodgy this morning, that time o' the month is approaching and apparently PMS is deciding to be a jerk-ass.

I did however, get my car washed at least, although I'm not sure if the car cleaning stuff I got is the right one...my old land lord said it wasn't and I used to borrow his, but I'm not there anymore so... I thought it would be OK, but you know.

Anyway, I have to get to Mrs S's a half hour earlier than usual tomorrow because the man who's coming to install some new stuff in her kitchen is coming at 10am so she needs to be dressed and had breakfast and all that jazz before then.

Which means I should have bee in bed like an hour ago, do'h! I fail. But yes, I'm off now.

But on one last note, apparently Li'l Lletyon is already out of retirement as a back-up in Australia's Davis Cup team, LOL shortest retirement ever. Pulling a Plushy perhaps? ;O)

11:21pm: First, my left knee is hurting and my abdominal area is continuing to be an ass, to the extent that I almost had a panic attack today while working at the library! So not cool.

Also not cool, when I spoke to my mother this morning before heading into the library she told me that she had just been speaking with C, the landlady and apparently they don't want me living here in the Granny Flat and they certainly don't want to suggest to perspective purchasers that I could be a tenant. Hmpf. I suppose she could have changed her mind after talking to her husband, N, but I tell you this happens quite a bit. She'll say one thing to me and then the completely opposite to my mother and vice versa. WTF? It's very confusing.

So the search for a new place to live is back on! I got rather excited this evening when I thought that I might be able to afford a home loan that would get me into an old unrenovated apartment. But of course I managed to stuff up my figures and it turns out I could only get a loan big enough to buy something way out of Sydney. :OP Not to mention the apartment that spawned this has all ready found a buyer. Boo.

Anyway, I was over at my parents house for dinner when all this went down, it was roast chicken from Woolies and very yummy it was too! :OD There'd been some drama before I came over, Dad was on a step ladder polishing the car when he accidentally fell off it! Fortunately there's nothing broken, but his leg is really saw now, I hope he feels better soon!

I also hope I feel better soon, as I mentioned my guts continue to be an ass and I have work to do tomorrow! It was uncomfortable enough today that I had to give up on the idea of going skating after finishing work at Belrose Library. I was quite disappointed.

Although as proof that everyone makes mistakes, when I got to Belrose Library this morning my co-worker had forgotten the keys to get in! :Oo We had to call one of the library managers, but it took her about 20 minutes to arrive, but we managed to open on time at least.

Right, I should be off to bed now, like I said more work tomorrow and alas the game between the two Aussies at the Aussie Open started late so I won't be able to stay up and watch it. Suffice to say I'm going for John Millman, you go man!

10:09pm: I'm feeling totally displeased right now, I've just discovered that despite my best efforts in applying the pimple cream and then waiting for it to dry before putting my PJs on, my Garfield PJs have been bleached by the cream! Now there's a big pink splotch on the back. I am thoroughly bummed by that because I'm quite sure you can't get these PJs at K-Mart anymore because I was just there earlier this week and I didn't see them. Sigh. I guess the only upside is its on the back so it's not like I can see it.

I'm probably being a bit overdramatic, but today hasn't been the best for me, this morning I had abdominal cramps and it was only good luck that I was able to get to Mrs S's. I tried driving there myself, but while I felt well enough to be able to do my work, driving is a whole different matter. So I ended up back in front of my house not sure what to do, except see if C, my landlady was still home because I saw her when I left. It turns out she was and was kind enough to give me a lift, so I didn't let Mrs S down at least.

After I finished up I went over to Mum and Dad's house on the bus, just in time to see Dad's car leaving, I figured that he might be going to get Mum from the airport - so I went in to enjoy the air conditioning and wait for them. After nearly two hours though I decided that they probably weren't coming any time soon and I should probably get myself home because the weather was looking pretty bad.

It took a lot longer than planned though, as it turns out some truck driver managed to spill his load of dirt on the Harbour Bridge and the knock on effect resulted in a huge delay for the buses. Good thing I had my book to read.

My abdominal area remains somewhat unsettled, but I think I should be good for tomorrow - fingers crossed.

Whoops, I've gotten distracted by the Russian Junior Nationals - the kid out there right now is wearing a very bizarre costume, even by figure skating standards. He's got suspenders...that don't actually go over his shoulders. WTF is that?

What else to report? Well not much, the weekly memes are decrease in number though! Another one the Follow Friday Four Fill-Ins as gone now, how sad. But there's still the two Friday Fives' so...

Slow

1. What’s something you make that takes a really long time to cook? I'm not a the person who cooks for a long time, I'm too lazy for that, LOL. I guess the longest would be lasagna, but even then that's only about an hour.

2. Of books you’ve completed, which took you the most time to get from beginning to end? Hmmm, I'm not actually sure. I guess there's been a few books I've slogged through, maybe a month and a half to two. If a book sucks that much I usually give up on it, although I generally do finish books.

3. What’s a movie that seemed much longer than it was? The fucking Matrix, God I hated that movie, what a crapfest.

4. Who was your partner for your first slow dance? Never done a slow dance, so N/A.

5. What decision are you dragging your feet toward making? Whether I'm going skating tomorrow I guess? I've been good with the decision making lately. :OP

15/1/16

SW:TFA

1. When did you last wear a lei (or something similar)? Um, I wore some red painted flower beads a few weeks back, they came from Fiji I think.

2. What are your thoughts on organically grown produce? Um...I don't really have any...although I did read somewhere that it takes more water to grow organic stuff than non-organic stuff, but I don't know about that.

3. Which Goldie Hawn movies have you seen? The only one I can think of is Death Becomes Her and I didn't really watch all of that.

4. What’s something you’ve recently and reluctantly flown solo on? Scratches head...nothing's coming to mind.

5. What experience do you have with BB or pellet guns? None whatsoever, I don't even know if you can get those things in Australia.

22/1/16

Balance

1. When opposing forces in your life pull you in different directions, how do you recenter yourself and find balance? Uh...I probably don't, which would explain some of my problems, LOL. I usually end up asking people's advice on what is more important, I guess.

2. What are often the greatest threats to your overall balance? My anxiety? Yeah, probably that.

3. If you could add just a little more of one thing to your life and have a little less of another, what would they be? Mo' money, less anxiety damnit.

4. What are pluses and minuses of hanging out with mercurial people, and what are pluses and minuses of hanging out with even-keeled people? Which tend to populate your social groups most? Hmmm, well, I guess the pluses of mercurial people are excitement and the minuses are you never know when their mood might change. With even-keeled people the pluses are emotional stability (they're probably fun too though) and the minuses...I dunno. Sometimes they might be a little too calm. As for which group populate my social group...probably even-keelers.

5. What’s you greatest challenge in maintaining a balanced diet? Not eating too much cheese and chocolate! It's a bit of a losing battle I have to say.

Right, I'll get to the other Friday Five later, in the meantime I'm trying to make heads or tails of Russian commericals, but I'm not getting anywhere really, except for recognising the word for 'everything' LMAO.

And I better be off, because I can't stay up too late, I need to be at Belrose Library at 9:30 tomorrow! Wish me luck!

10:36pm: There has been much pain in it today...I guess I've eaten too much chocolate? Or maybe it's the fact that my plan for getting 8 hours sleep after staying up super late last night watching the figure skating was thwarted when Mum called to ask me to drop by my Uncle Sam and Aunt Jo's to get the ham Grandpa accidentally gave them instead of to my mother.

She did this at 8am! Less than 6 hours after I went to bed. I'm no good when I don't get enough sleep, so perhaps this is part of it? Either way it sucks wholly. I ended up leaving my car near my brother's house which is half way to the church and then catching a bus the rest of the way.

And I can't find my Buscopan anywhere, but there were no pharmacy's open today so I couldn't buy any! You can get laxativs at the supermarket and Immodium, but nothing for stomach pain specifically? WTF is that crap? I took a paracetamol, but it hasn't really worked...I probably should have taken two. Oh and I tried using my mini-hot water bottle but yeah, that only provided temporary relief.

Well, you don't really want to hear about all that I'm sure, writing about it certainly hasn't helped.

Anyway, regarding the skating, sadly the "Old Men" didn't get near the podium, shame, but I suppose Russia's been holding out for some young guns to pick up the mantle.

I'm most disappointed to discover that the ladies frees skate doesn't start until 2am Aussie time! I can't stay up for that! I'll just have to cross my fingers that my favourite lady manages to make a big come back to at least get near the podium.

And lastly, apparently some Plushy fans put up banners for him in this competition, even though he's not there, LOL, I haven't spotted them though. This is apparently something they do over there. Have banners for skaters who haven't been there for ages, or at least the ones with die-hard fans.

Anyway, I've forgotten where I got up to with the Memes...whoops. But I've neglecting the Thursday meme a bit so here they are.

Audible

I’m guessing most of you like reading (or why would you be here), how do you feel about audio books?

Well, as a general rule I don't get them because I prefer to read, otherwise if I don't have my hands occupied I end up doing something else and missing out on a whole lot of stuff, LOL!

However, I do like audiobooks when they're read by the author or performed by more than one voice more like a radio play. I'll never forget getting the Audiobook for the Back to the Future novelisation, whoever read that had the worst voice ever!

Gift

What books are/were you hoping to get as gifts this holiday season?
Which books DID you get?
Are you happy, or did you rush right out to your local bookstore to pick up the book you’d hoped you’d be getting?

Well, I have too many books all ready so I don't really ask for any these days because I've got nowhere to put them! Plus new books in Australia are so expensive, I prefer to get stuff secondhand. However! I did get a lovely handmade (by someone else) notebook from M and Grandpa which was much appreciated!

Well, as I said I didn't get much sleep last night so I shall wrap this up here. I'm hoping my abdomen will be back to normal tomorrow!

9:50pm: About my living situation...again...the landlords have been talking about moving recently - why I have no idea, they just bought this house seriously - which would mean I'd have to leave the Granny Flat, since as I've mentioned before you can't stipulate that someone can remain in a property unless its in a will (and maybe not even then!).

The problem is, my landlords talk a lot about various plans and ideas and then never do them - for example that washing machine in the shed next to the flat has been there for over nine months and I still can't use it because N hasn't set up the hose! And I spent 40 bucks getting a new lid for it and everything. Bit of a waste right there.

Plus there's been no movement on the car front, if I want my parking sensors it looks like I'm going to have to pay to have them installed by someone else. Bloody hopeless.

So as you can see I'm not sure if I should take these comments seriously or what? I mean, I guess a case could be made for me to just find somewhere else to go regardless just to escape the uncertainity. But I really like where I live right now! Pain in the butt.

In other news, today was the interview, which I think went pretty well...but I never can tell with these things, fingers crossed.

So anyway, after that I hurried home to change clothes before the bus to the mall came, I also had to take down my washing because rain was forecasted. I managed to get it off the line, although I didn't have time to take it back up to my flat so I had to leave it under the veranda thing - as it turned out that wasn't covered enough and so it got a bit damp.

I did manage to get the bus, though it was a very close thing! It was coming down the street as I hurried down the driveway of the house but the nice driver saw me waving and waited at the stop for me.

So yes, the day went quite well, at least until halfway through my shift at the library when I got abdominal pain for no apparent reason...and that really put a damper on everything, it was bad enough that I almost asked if I could lie down or something. It's settled down a bit now, but is still there and I don't know where I put my Buscopan so I can't even take that. Why do you to this to me digestive system? I hope it wasn't from the cream...because I ate some cupcakes with that on it.

Anyway, I should probably get to bed sooner rather than later, sooo...

Some Memes! )

Righto, I'm finally starting to catch up on those Memes...still a bit to go though, but now, bedtime! With any luck I'll sleep much better tonight because as mentioned the rain has set in so it's not nearly as hot now.

9:47pm: I'm wondering if I should have called in sick to work tomorrow, but I don't like to do that, plus with any luck I'll wake up feeling better tomorrow.

I have no idea what the issue could be, this morning I felt quite OK until I was halfway to work and started getting bad abdominal pains. They were bad enough that I had to go to the bathroom at Mrs S's something I don't usually do, but I didn't feel any better. In fact eventually Mrs S noticed I was looking too good, and offered me an anti-spasmodic tablet, which kind of worked, but later on while I was doing my library shift I got a headache and it just won't go away! I took some ibprofuen, but it hasn't done much at all, and now my abdomen is back to hurting and I don't think I have any Buscopan left. I wonder if there's some paracetamol, maybe that will do something.

Although the best thing to do would probably be go to bed early, especially since as I discovered at the library today I have a shift there tomorrow as well! Yikes! How am I supposed to get any gym time in this week? I guess that'll remain to be seen.

In other news, the hair curling endeavour was a bust, I think my hair was too wet, I did blow dry it for a bit, but my hair is quite thick so it was probably wetter than I thought it would be. And maybe I should have sprayed my hair with hairspray before taking the curlers out? Whatever the case, I've admitted defeat and am planning to go to a hair dresser on Friday to get it done by a professional, although this will mean going to work on Saturday with a retro-hairdo! Oh well, what are you gonna do?

Well, I'll tell you want I'm not gonna do, the memes, because yeah like I said, I have to go to bed early.

I really hope I feel better tomorrow! Send good wishes to me!

10:29pm: I am so getting an adorable and fabulous green Citreon! :OD I met with my friend tonight after church and we agreed on a price and a payment plan - since I don't actually have all the funds on hand. All right mates rates!

The only downside is I haven't exactly passed it with the parental units yet, I called Mum's mobile after leaving my friend's house, but she didn't answer, then I tried their home number, but they must be out tonight. Now, of course it's too late to call.

I guess I should leave a text message. Man, I hope it won't get too awkward, I feel quite bad about Dad's old car and what's going to happen to it, especially as it seems the car Mum hoped to trade her current car and Dad's new car to get seems not to be available. What on Earth will we do with the red Chery? I mean technically, I can leave it parked on the street here, there's no time limits, but that's probably not good for it, plus I'd have to take it out for a drive every so often so it doesn't stop working all together. But...Dad won't want to sell it if he can't get decent money for it...he loves that car, man.

However! It was fun seeing my friend, it's been an age! Unfortunately I wasn't able to stay for dinner because we met at her parents' house and they all ready had a guest over. Plus I got to see the car in person...ah so bubble like, so green! :OD With any luck we will meet tomorrow in Chatswood for the handing over! I wonder if Mum will agree to come with me or if I'll have to get public transport there.

In other news, today was my first Saturday shift at the library and yikes was it ever busy! There were so many returns in the chutes at one point they threatened to spill all over the floor. I guess the bad weather and school holidays this week have lend to hardcore reading. I wonder what it'll be like when I work on Sundays a few weeks from now...

The only downside of the day was when I felt a bit dodgy towards the end of my shift...don't know what that was all about. It continued on for a bit, but fortunately went away during church, I was a bit worried I'd feel too off to go see my friend.

It was an interesting mass because an old priest had come back to visit us. We haven't seen him from quite some time, he's supposed to be retired, but I guess he missed us and decided to pop by and see us. He can't really stand up these days but he delivered a very good homily.

What else to report...well I got some chicken legs for dinner tonight, but I'm out of terrayki sauce so onmy way back home from my friend's I stopped by IGA but alas they didn't have the Masterfoods brand, so I got this other type. Which wouldn't have been so bad except beneath the regular lid was a cap, like you'd find on a beer bottle. I don't have a bottle opener and if it was supposed to be a twist-off cap it was a very difficult one to get off! Eventually I had to pry it off with a screwdriver! Seriously, though what the Hell is that all about?

Anyway! I should probably do some memes before I head to bed - I'm tired after my busy day! Plus I still need to get up at a reasonable hour so I can do my laundry.

Here we go! )

OK, I guess I should be off now, there's some weird noises coming from next door...it sounds like someone is hammering out there, at this time of night? With it raining on and off? Seriously what kind of neighbours do I have?

11:10pm: Maybe I shouldn't have eaten so much cupcake batter from the bowl on Friday? Or perhaps it was the reheated Honey Chicken I had on Saturday. Or maybe it's some weird ovulation thing or maybe it's my IBS being a complete shit. It's certainly made my weekend less than enjoyable.

Plus this afternoon while I was working out at the gym, I realised something quite unfortunate about not going to the party last night. I promised Mrs S I would ask around to see if anyone would be interested in working weekends for her, but obviously since I didn't go, I never did. So I feel rather bad about that...I almost considered calling her to apolgise but I thought that would be a bit much.

Anyway, despite my lower abdominal pain I did get to the gym, but I also managed to forget to bring my swimmers with me, so I had to skip that - booo! I also went to church with my parental units and had dinner with them, roast chicken and salad, and a Father's Day cake for Dad. :O) So that was pretty fun, except for when Mum somehow managed to knock over her cup of coffee and it went everywhere! Between the three of us we managed to mop it all up.

Speaking of spilling stuff...I won the glasses on Ebay! Yay! Although I have to send an email asking the seller to combine the postage and will need to wait until I get a reply for that.

I guess I should be off now, before I go though, here's the Memes:>The Friday Five This week's questions are brought to you courtesy of pheonixflyer, the letter F, and the number 5... Random! 1. If possible, what do you think you were in a past life? Uh, I'm not sure to be honest...maybe a bird? 2. What is the perfect day to you? A nice sunny day so I can go for a walk, then spend some time hanging with friends, do some reading, some writing and surf the net! :OD Which could often happen, so go me. 3. Who do you think should become president? Not Donald Trump that asshole. I've heard many good things about Bernie Sanders, although it would be nice to have a female President in the US. 4. If you were a writer what would you write about? I am a writer...although as I realised today I've been terribly lax in writing this year! I'm rather bummed about it actually...I really should set aside time for it. But to answer your question I write whatever catches my fancy. Recently I had an idea about writing the story of the World's Longest Living Turtle (or is it Tortoise) who recently died. 5. What are the reasons of why you break up with someone? Well I've never gone out with anyone so I haven't had to, but I'd say cheating, loss of interest and just general assholeness. Saturday 9 :Working My Way Back to You (1966): Unfamiliar with this week's tune? Hear it here. 1) We're celebrating the last holiday of summer with The Four Seasons. Which season is your favorite? Summer! There's my birthday, Christmas, Daylight Savings, nice weather... 2) Before they settled on The Four Seasons, they called themselves The Four Lovers, The Romans and The Village Voices. If you were/are in a band, please share the name. Or just make up a cool name for your pretend band. Never was in a band as I have no musical talent...As for a band name, hmmm, Moosical :OP 3) Lead singer Frankie Valli has occasionally fudged the year of his birth. Have you ever lied about your age? Uh...I don't think so? I haven't corrected cashiers when they charged me a child's fare though...shame on me! :OP 4) Frankie Valli, Frank Sinatra, Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen ... New Jersey has given us many music superstars. What is your state known for? New South Wales? Sydney and all the tourist locations therein. 5) In 1965, Frankie was arrested in Columbus, Ohio. But it wasn't his fault! The bandmate he trusted to pay the group's hotel bill neglected to do so. Tell us about a time when your trusting nature got you in trouble. Hmmm...well I didn't get in trouble, but I always believed one of my old friend's - more of an ex-friend now since we haven't seen each other in like 10 years - outrageous stories. Well, I didn't believe them exactly, but I couldn't quite see why they'd lie. That's generally how I see stuff... 6) Clint Eastwood directed the movie version of the Four Seasons biography, Jersey Boys. What's your favorite Clint Eastwood movie? Never seen any. Since Labor Day is the holiday established to celebrate the American worker … 7) According to the U.S. Census, more and more Americans are working from home. Are you one of them? I'm not an American, so no right off. I don't work from home though. 8) Of those of us who work outside the home, 75% travel to work alone. 15% take public transportation and the remaining 10% carpool. How do you get to your job? I drive my car alone, although I used to take public transport. 9) Do you have any big plans for this holiday weekend? Not a holiday weekend here, so no.</lj-cut> Or some of them, since I've just noticed the time! Damn! Sleep debt is not how I need to start this week so I'm off! Goodnight all! <table cellspacing= )

11:10pm: My lower abdomen is being such a bitch today, I'm suffering I tells you! Fortunately, it's been on and off, but there has been much discomfort. I don't know what to think about it, I hope my IBS isn't flaring up again, I don't need this...I still have some IBS Support tablets left so I guess I'll start taking them again and hope they work.

Anyway, the volunteering went well, although I really should have bought the book on Cadel Evans I've been trying to finish because there wasn't much to do for three hours except read! Especially since I had to charge my phone so wasn't able to do much with it. As it turned out I picked out one of the free ex-library books at the Creative Space, the first book of A Series of Unfortunate Events, a very good book, which I ended up finishing. Of course now I'm going to have to borrow the rest of them, fortunately they're all at Mona Vale Library, I know this because I straightened them up on the shelves. :OP

Speaking of books I have at least almost finished the Puzzled book, about solving cryptic crosswords, I'm really not certain I understand how they work, but it was a great read nonetheless!

And I've just noticed the time, yikes, I need to get my ass to bed!

I was planning on doing some memes, but alas I don't really have the time, still, at least I got the cupcakes made for Mrs S's birthday tomorrow. Even the frosting despite the fact that I was almost out of cocoa powder!

I thought I might have something else to say, but I've forgotten it now...oh right, I asked at the Gym about my necklace, but no sign. Hmpf, I hope whoever has it now will treat it well!

And off I go, goodnight!

9:26pm: Because it's made me worried about my waist circumference (my BMI is fine, but that can be sort of dodgy) and uhoh, it's not too good. In fact it's periliously close to the high danger category - unless I've measured wrong. Dang, how concerning. I thought I was looking a little rotund in the gut area, guess I'll have to keep up the squats at the gym! And keep away from the Nutella...again (that bastard).

Speaking of the gym, I meant to go today, my abdomen was being a jerk so I didn't, which is rather annoying seeing as I took my gym bag with me. But it was also library volunteer day and I was all out of steam by the end of that, I tell you some of those Home Library Service clients make it hard...like people who want 20 books each time. Man, some people read a lot!

However! I did manage to go to the hardware shop and get some sandpaper for my bathroom vanity - a couple of weeks ago I put my straightner on it in the incorrect manner and it melted some of it leaving a rather sharp point. As you can imagine this makes wiping it clean with the sponge hard to do because it gets caught. Long story short, I explained this to the hardware shop guy who got me the right grade of sandpaper and now it's no longer a hazard.

I mopped the floor this morning before leaving, as I promised Mum I would, so go me, except I kind of left it a bit late and thus ended up missing the bus, which kind of stressed me out a bit even though I have the car and drove that. But you know, I had things all planned out in my brain etc.

And I burned the top of my mouth eating dinner, ow...why I gotta do this to myself? Fail.

What else to report? Well, the Fed-Ex is up against Murray in the semi-final of Wimbledon, will the Fed continue to be awesome? Will Murray make Britain proud? I hope for Roger! This is the 10th time he's been in a Wimbledon semi, and if he gets to the final it could be an 8th Wimbledon title for the Fabulous Fed.

Now, the new Embarrassing Bodies is on so I shall be off to watch that! :O) Tomorrow is the pyschiatrist appointment so I need to get to bed at a reasonable hour so I get enough zzzzs.

Wish me luck, then!

Goodnight all!

PS. Oh wait, I've checked it out and it turns out I was measuring the wrong way, no need to panic people, remain calm! :O)

10:41pm: Because don't speak it, LOL, maybe I accidentally selected the wrong option, I haven't signed in for a while.

Anyway! Today was all right, except for the lower abdominal discomfort, most unpleasant. It seems to have settled down, which is good since I'm going to bed soon.

And now I'm watching Lateline and some dude is just wandering around making citizen arrests of UberX Drivers. Like what the fuck? If someone did that for me I'd totally call the cops myself, I'm not letting some stranger "arrest" me. Who gave them that authority? And what's this guy's major malfunction anyway? I'm also finding this man irritating for no apparent reason...

Oh! And I saw my parents this evening, they're home from Melbourne with Dad's new car, which is not blue, but boring old silver :OP It is however an automatic, which I sure wish I had, especially today when I stalled the car as I was pulling out onto the main road as a rather large truck was bearing down on me.

Before I head off, I'll just wrap up the Memes, since it's almost time to begin the next week's worth of them, LOL!

10:02pm: Yes, it's Embarrassing Bodies night and on this episode is a woman who has the biggest boobs I've ever seen. Apparently, 1 in 5 women's breasts grow as a side effect of menopause, but I'm pretty sure this is a very extreme case because in the end after breast reduction surgery 6kg of excess breast tissue was removed. That's like two newborn baby's worth! God damn.

Moving on, tomorrow is the day! The parental units return! And alas, the car still has scratches on it, it was quite annoying because despite the weather report, there was no rain until the late afternoon, although even if I had applied the paint this morning I guess it wouldn't have worked, since it's really coming down out there now.

I also have other exciting news! I missed a couple of phone calls while I was at work this morning, the first was from the repair service I had to call regarding the oven at Cammeray, but the other one was from Pittwater Council. It wasn't about the job I applied for, but when I eventually got hold of the lady who called - she said thy were very impressed by my resume and want to interview me for the Casual Library Assistant pool! It's next Tuesday - at 11:15 so I'll have to leave work early - Hell yeah! :OD Fingers and toes crossed my friends, this could be me getting my foot in the door!

Speaking of the library, it was volunteer day today and alas the Inter-Library Loans Co-ordinator is still out sick, so the loans really piled up. I also needed to help with the Home Library Service - since that is ostensibly what I'm volunteering for - so in the end despite staying back later there was still work to be done. I'm going to go in tomorrow to finish up, it's mostly outgoing requests - I kind of forgot about them and 33 were waiting! I got through them, but I need to post out some books.

Now, I was planning to go to Chatswood, not just for the beanie, but because as Mrs S reminded me I was going to get my hair done for the parental return, however staying a bit later at the library, discomfort in the abdomonial area and rain put me off. Plus I remembered that I have the straightener, so I got it out and the new conditioner really seems to be working wonders...although I think I might have melted the area around the bathroom sink a bit, do'h!

Anyway, I better wrap this up, I didn't get quite enough shut-eye last night so I should catch up on it.

Man, I hope it won't be raining this hard tomorrow...because I won't have a car anymore!

For now, goodnight!

9:42pm: No seriously, that's the name of the nurse on Embarrassing Bodies tonight, I don't know if I could take someone of that name seriously.

And ow, they're showing a woman who had a stroke and to dramatise it they played some extremely high pitched noise, which I could have done without. Well at least I know my hearing's OK.

In other news, it has not been a comfortable day for me, first off I managed to get terrible heartburn somehow, ugh so much burning! And it was irritating me for most of the day despite taking an anti-stomach pain medicine that Mrs S swears by. It's gone away now, but as left me with a pain in my lower abdomen instead, seriously what the fuck is that?

And to top it off, my left knee aches, if I hadn't just had my period I'd think it was that...so it's just a mystery.

Oh and there's one more issue, the internet, it's still slow as molasses but not because of the weather or because we've used all our bandwidth, no apparently Telstra fucked up the landlord's bill and he's refused to pay it as is. So Telstra has throttled the speed! Well fuck them. I hope this gets sorted out sooner rather than later. Because I haven't been able to get onto Tumblr!

Anyway, I don't really have much more to say, I've left this window open for like half an hour and this is all I've written!

Anyway, I hope my aches and pains will be all gone tomorrow because stuff needs to be done - more things moved for Mrs. S, the gym etc.

Before I go, I ordered some underwear that I think will match my purple bra, they should arrive tomorrow so fingers crossed for that.

And now I'll wrap this up, goodnight all!
