anonymoose_au: (I Don't Know...)
In fact I couldn't brain so much that I started this entry yesterday at 11:39pm and then gave up, LOL.

It wasn't much of an entry though...but here's what I wrote:

"Because that time o' the month is bearing down on me and concentration is the first casualty, which truly sucks. :OP Because I've procrastinated like crazy and now there's barely 10 minutes to midnight and I said I was going to update you all further on the play.

Although, it was mostly visual's kind of hard to explain, LOL. Suffice to say Mr Burns is actually quite striking when he's wearing sequins. :OP

I am interested in finding out if the misquotes and whatnot in the play were done on purpose or if the playwright actually didn't know the episode. I was almost tempted to yell out the correct quotes, but it wasn't an audience participation play. :OP"

And let it be said it definitely was that Time o' the month at came today and knocked me on my ass, I didn't even get outside all day, which to be honest was probably a bad thing...Oh the plus side the period pain medication seems to have worked, which is good because I some bad cramps a couple of hours ago.

Moving along, I've been doing lots of chatting on the Yuri on Ice discord (it's like a message board) which is cool! Although it does mean I've been slacking on my fan fic, which is bad. I gotta get with the program, otherwise I'll never finish and that would be awful. I'm a bit annoyed though because I seem to have lost the second page of the plot outline I actually went to the trouble of writing this time! I feel like it'd be helpful to have. That'll teach me not to put it on the computer, I wrote it out by hand.

Speaking of writing stuff out by hand, I'm still unsure what to do about the days when I forgot to write a positive note of the day and can now no longer remember said days. Damn.

So not much else to report which is to be expected when you sit on your butt pretty much all day and I better head off so I can go to bed as soon as Cold Case finishes because there's work tomorrow!

For now, goodnight!

11:46pm: If only to use it for this entry in order to let you all know that the Mr Burns play was really cool! If a bit strange in the way all plays seem to be. It was a comedy though with lots of funny moments despite the post apocolyptic setting. Well worth seeing! :OD

Plus it was lots of fun hanging with my aunt, uncle and cousin, after the play we went to a pub to have dinner, which took ages to come but was most delicious.

Anyway...I see that I've got no time to actually update! Tsk, they've changed the Duolingo app so now you have to do the revision in a timed manner, speed is definitely not my strong suit - which I'm sure surprises none of you. :OP

So, yeah I gotta get my butt to bed, you know what happens when I don't get my zzzs!

I'll have a more complete report of things tomorrow...I hope.

Goodnight all!

10:35pm: Yes indeed! The Revue! As it turned out we weren't in the front row because seats had been sold out there by the time my friend got to it. Which was a good thing really because there was a nude dance! With strategically positioned props of course, but still there would have white buttocks in our faces and my friend knows most of those people!

Unfortunately, I lost track of time so I'm only just having dinner now! Or rather in like 40 minutes. How unfortunate.

Also my friend decided to go home, which is a shame, but then again the mattress looks like it'd be a struggle to get out from behind the shelf.

So, here I am watching a program called Bulging Brides, although it should be noted these women aren't actually fat, they just bought wedding dresses that were too small! Also, why don't they have something for Bulging Grooms I mean that cumberband might not fit, LOL!

Moving along a survey!

Now I Know My ABCs )

Hmm, this show has some dangerous looking exercises! I'm sure they're not but it looks nasty to me.

Also, there looks like a there's a delicious cake popping up in this show, I waaaant!

They don't like bread much these dieting types, what's with that. Although I do wonder how I'd stack up to these people - they have such huge servings! I do eat heaps of cheese addictive.

And finally - marriage apparently makes you fat...

Now memes!

Well, I tried to tell my mother no the other day but she was like 'Come oooon' so I did. :OP Before that..I dunno.

2. When was the last time you visited a hospital? think it would have been when my little cousin Mack was born...over 6 years ago! Unless you count the time I was in the Emergency Room for a stupid reason. Man, so embarrassing.

3. If you were to start a club, what would the subject matter be, and what would you name it?

Some sort of BTTF club! Because BTTF rocks my socks no idea what I could call it though...:OD But hmmm...I could also do a George III club, he needs fans - I'd call it "The Society for the Protection of George III" - cause some historians are really rough.

4. Have you ever hit someone of the opposite sex?

My brothers yes.

5. What's the first thing you notice about the preferred sex?

A strong jaw...niiiice.

6. What really turns you on?

9. Has anyone ever said you looked like a celebrity?

I was told I looked like Audrey Hepburn in one photo, but it was a profession glamour shot...

Saturday Six

1. What is the most recent thing you purchased with real cash?

Some food for the apartment - my brother gave me 20 bucks yesterday, so I used that.

2. As a general rule, do you keep cash on you at all times?

Generally yes, it's handy, although I don't like to have too much because it's way too easy to spend!

3. You have $50 in cash in your pocket and you are approached by someone asking for $20 because they’ve run out of gas. They seem believable and genuinely in need. Would you give them the $20?

Well, I guess...but I'd feel more comfortable going into the service station and paying for it, esepcially if I didn't have change - 50 bucks is a lot!

4. Take the quiz: What Dollar Bill Are You?

You Are a Five Dollar Bill

You're not totally broke, but you definitely are counting all your pennies. You believe that thrift is a virtue.

You've got some cash in your pocket, and you'd like to keep it that way. You like being one step ahead of your bills.

You are responsible and detail oriented. You aren't intimidated by money or balancing your checkbook.

You are the type most likely to know what everything costs... and to know when a cashier gave you wrong change.

5. How often do you have this denomination in your pocket?

6. Which single line in the quiz answer above best describes you?

"You like being one step ahead of your bills" - Although sometimes I fall behind now I don't have job. :O(

And the 30 Day Meme!

Day 19 – Something you regret, in great detail

Uh...hmmm...I don't actually regret many things...which I suppose is good! But then I don't take many risks.

I do regret losing contact with my first best friend, we got only really well! And it was great having a friend especially since I used to get teased so much in primary school.

We kept in contact for a few years after I left Dubbbo, but eventually we lost touch - I did in fact run into her once a few years ago! But I don't think we could have reconnected, we'd grown too far apart.

Life can be lame.

10 more to go! )

Right! Dinner's ready and I'm hungry so ta for now!

11:27pm: Hey good news! Look!

35000 / 50000 words. 70% done!

LOL, I have to admit that I purposely made sure that I got the exact figure. If only because my wrists are gonna hate me for it otherwise.

Anywho, the musical was OK, except for the fact that except for one song whenever they sang I couldn't dicipher the lyrics. I could figure out what was going on, plus I read the program, but damn...Is that supposed to happen?

Anywho! Tomorrow I'm going to a Sci-Fi Convention thing, I hear there's going to be Daleks there or something and who doesn't want a pictur with some Daleks.

1. You’re home alone watching television: what beverage are you most likely to be drinking?

Iced water - yeah I'm wiild! :OP

2. You have dinner with friends at a nice restaurant: what beverage are you most likely to be drinking?

As above.

3. You’re at a cocktail party with a free bar: what beverage are you most likely to be drinking?

As above...

4. Given a choice, are you more likely to choose water, a soft drink, tea, coffee, beer or wine?

Water, LOL, I suck.

5. Take the quiz: What Kind of Wine Are You?

You Are Sauvignon Blanc

Engaging and energetic, you have a lot to offer the world - most of it they've never seen anywhere else!

You are the type of person who carves your own path in life... and you invite everyone else to come along.

The only thing predictable about you is that you could have anything up your sleeve.

You're all about sampling all of life's experiences. Both the savory and unsavory ones.

Deep down you are: Laid back and young at heart

Your partying style: Anything goes... seriously!

Your company is enjoyed best with: Smoked meats or spicy food

6. What is your favorite wine?

I don't even drink, so none of them!

There's probably a few more Memes to do, but it's getting late, so I best be off.

Oh and finally, this quiz I had John take last night, he got Spike of course, but I got...

You Are Count von Count

You? A vampire? Well, maybe in name only. There's nothing really vampiric about you.

You are the kindest person in the world. You wouldn't hurt a fly, let alone suck someone's blood.

You are a natural teacher, and you enjoy the company of children. And not because you find them delicious!

People make find you annoying at times, but they never find you frightening. The only thing scary about your mouth is that you talk too much!

I love the Count! Ha ha ha ha!

Ah, Damnit

Jan. 28th, 2007 11:02 pm
anonymoose_au: (A Gunrack?)
10:18pm: Well, the Musical was actually pretty good, however, my digestive system was not! It calmed down, but every so often it would flair up and I'd worry about throwing up, but not really... I have no idea what's going on. Is it pyschosomatic? Is it Irritable Bowel Syndrome, if it's the latter what could have set the damn thing off this time? If it's the former how do I get it to go away? You'd think it'd go when I did the thing I'm afraid of...but maybe it's not that easy, what a pain in the ass.

This is all down to the fact that I've read about people who get so anxious they throw up, which to most panic prone people isn't so bad when they consider people won't be nasty about it, but I'm actually afraid of throwing up so the fact people will be nice about it doesn't really matter.

Although it might also be stress about the money situation, I'm so broke it's not funny! It's depressing as Hell :O( I was going so well! Now I'll have to beg my mother to let me spilt up the last payment I owe to her and Dad so I'll have something to live on this week. I need it for food!

In other news I may have mentioned that when my laptop chucked a spaz last year (knock on wood!) and I had to reinstall Windows XP from scratch that I lost all of my extra fonts. I've been trying to replace them, but it's not that easy. What's annoying is I wrote down some of these fonts (with characters and what not) but I can't find where I've written it, so I have to do it by sight. Which sucks. Although at this site has free fonts illustrated by quotes and one is:

Everyone loves a moose.
They just don't know it.

Anywho, I have work tomorrow and I have to drop the car back at the parentals so I have to drive it there before work (damn parking metres) so I'll have to get up early if I'm going to get there in time. So here's a quizzie I took...

Your Taste in Music:

90's Pop: High Influence
80's Alternative: Medium Influence
Classic Rock: Low Influence
80's Pop: No Influence
80's R&B: No Influence

They didn't have any good bands to choose from either! No Corrs, Beach Boys, Beatles or nothin'!

And the Memes

No Sat-8 due to illness of the person who writes the q's.

Saturday Six

1. Take the quiz: What happened the year that you were born?

This isn't really a quiz, and I've done it, suffice to say not much happened :OP But I'll post it again:

In 1984 (the year you were born)

Ronald Reagan is president of the US

On a Challenger mission, two astronauts become the first humans to fly free of a spacecraft

An Union Carbide insecticide plant in Bhopal, India seeps toxic gas killing over 2,000

Penthouse magazine publishes nude photographs of Miss America Vanessa Williams

The Soviet Union boycotts the Los Angeles Summer Olympics

Richard Stallman starts developing GNU

"Where's the Beef?" commercial campaign for Wendy's airs for the first time

The Apple Macintosh, the first consumer computer to use a computer mouse and GUI interface, is introduced by Apple

Ethiopian famine begins

Mandy Moore and Avril Lavigne are born

Detroit Tigers win the World Series

Los Angeles Raiders win Superbowl XVIII

Edmonton Oilers win the Stanley Cup

Ghost Busters, Beverly Hills Cop, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Gremlins, and The Karate Kid are top grossing films

"When Doves Cry" by Prince and the Revolution spends the most time at the top of US charts

Michael Jackson's hair catches fire during the filming of a Pepsi commercial

The Cosby Show, Punky Brewster, and Who's the Boss? premiere

2. Of the events mentioned, which would you most liked to have witnessed in person?

Well, the Challenger thing sounds pretty cool! Would I be up in space too? That'd be a bonus...kinda...I'd probably freak out if I actually went up into space...

3. Of the people mentioned, who would you most like to meet in person?

Said Astronuants, the rest of them don't really thrill me.

4. Of the people mentioned, who would you least like to meet in person?

Any of the singers.

5. Which of the events do you think had the most profound effect on history?

Well, the Ethopia famine is horrifying...I wonder if it's still going probably is, just imagining the number of people who have died.

6. Which of the events do you think contributed the most to our culture?

Depends on which culture you mean, nothing on that list is anything to do with Australia..but I'll say the computer thing, even though it's Apple. Computers have done so many things for Western Cultures, not all of it good...

Unconcious Mutterings

I say ... and you think ... ?

1. Limit :: Speed.

2. Voice :: Squeaky

3. Change :: That song that goes "Ch-ch-changes"

4. Expression :: Face.

5. Tailor :: Suit

6. Lemonade :: "Around the corner fudge is made" (I finally figured out what that meant a week ago, and ewww, Peter Griffin! :OP)

7. Thought :: Bubble

8. Phoebe :: Friends

9. Impression :: Umm...doing an impression of someone.

10. Sister :: Mary.

And that's all I have to say right now. I'm watching Forensic Factor on Discovery and it's odd not only are they blocking out the gross murdering stuff, but the faces of the victims and perpertrators and a suspect's apartment. Weird...guess it's a legal thing.

And so I say goodnight.

Ok went and saw play, it wasn't bad, but I didn't find it as humerous as other people did, also it was sometimes hard to understand what the actors were saying. But they were all great singers, which, seeing as it was a musical is a very good thing. ;O)

The only problem, I didn't get any dinner, so now I'm rather hungry even though I had some of the salad Dad made for dinner (I think it's got dressing or something on it, ick!), but I shall survive...although it's just occurred to me that we don't have anything to eat for breakfast! Well, no toast anyway, I guess I'll just grab me some Maccas tomorrow.

Anyways, I shold be in bed now, so here's Memes! )

In other news, the meeting this morning acutally went really well! I'm so pleased, I was really freaking out! They didn't even seem to mind my lack of questions...

But I have to come up with a Hypothetical and do a slideshow of piccies by Thursday, as well as buy some Mars Bars.

Yeah so what else...I took this quiz about Family Guy

Too big for my page! )

Just had some nuggets, which takes care of dinner, and now back to the hand wringing...
